Sand Harbor State Park
Located 5 miles from Incline Village, this is a must-see park. With short hiking trails, a long sandy beach, and plenty of iconic rocks, it is definitely one of the most photogenic spots on the lake.
Monkey Rock Trail
A short but steep hike up to an amazing viewpoint of the lake, featuring a rock that looks stunningly like a monkey. Parking is easiest at the Tunnel Creek and Deer Creek parking lots.
Castle Rock Trail
Moderate hike near South Lake Tahoe, with stunning views of the town and the lake.
Lake Tahoe Cruises / MS Dixie II
Hop aboard the boat where the couple first met! This 2.5-hour paddle wheeler tour departs from Zephyr Cove Marina and cruises through Emerald Bay, sharing lake history and fun facts along the way (Kirsten could probably recite the entire script — she worked full time on board as the gift shop cashier!). Relax on the top deck with a Rum Runner for lunch, or opt for indoor dining in the evening and watch the sun set over the lake while enjoying a live cover band.
Emerald Bay State Park
The crown jewel of Lake Tahoe. Take a day to drive around the lake and be sure to stop at this stunning bay, home to a historic tea house perched on a tiny island at its center.
Vikingsholm
Hike down to the shores of Emerald Bay to see this beautiful 38-room mansion, inspired by Scandinavian architecture. Psst - you can also learn all about this building on board the M.S. Dixie II!
Taylor Creek
Located along the drive from South Lake Tahoe to Emerald Bay, this spot is a favorite of the couple during the fall season. While September is a bit early for the salmon run, from October through November it’s common to see bears fishing for salmon at dawn and dusk as they prepare for winter hibernation.
Lam Watah Nature Trail to Nevada Beach
Take a peaceful stroll through the meadows and pine trees, ending at the beautiful Nevada Beach. It’s a perfect spot to sit quietly, listen to the waves, and reflect. And don’t forget to text the couple while you’re there to say hi — it’s practically their backyard!

If you’re debating on which spot to hit for breakfast, let this be the one. This is *by far* the couple’s favorite breakfast and brunch location in South Lake Tahoe, and they’re not alone; be sure to arrive early, and potentially expect a wait no matter what day of the week it is. But when they say it’s worth it, it’s worth it. Best pancakes ever. Cutest old-school atmosphere. Just go. Please.

Wolf by Vanderpump
If you know the couple, you know they love them some Lisa Vanderpump. Cozy up and sip a Pumptini at this dazzling restaurant created by the iconic Beverly Hills Housewife, and definitely try out the couple’s favorite appetizer: the Wolf Bread. Located inside Ceasar’s Republic.

A popular Apes Ski spot, this German-faire restaurant is a solid hit even during the off season.
