While a destination wedding for most, Kirsten and Will are lucky to call Lake Tahoe their home. It is a place that means a lot to their story, and holds many special memories. They first met in May 2021 on the eastern shore, when Kirsten began a summer job at Zephyr Cove Resort and Will happened to be training her. Just a few weeks later, they were dating, and Tahoe has been at the heart and center of their lives ever since. Since this is such a special place to the couple, they would love to encourage guests to make a trip out of the wedding! On the “things to do” page, you’ll find their favorite activities, hikes, restaurants, and more to help you make the most of your time in Tahoe.
Incline Village is located on the north shore of Lake Tahoe in Nevada, which sits at an elevation of around 6,224 feet above sea level. It is a 45 minute drive from Reno-Tahoe International Airport up through the Sierra Nevada mountains, and is about a 40 minute drive to South Lake Tahoe, a 30 minute drive to Tahoe City, and a 30 minute drive to Truckee.
Since there is another event in the area the same weekend, we suggest booking your accommodations early. You can find travel information on the travel tab. If you need any help or suggestions booking your stay, please reach out to Will or Kirsten and they would be happy to help you plan your trip based on the number of people in your party, length of stay, and your budget!
