Ashley is more than my sister—she’s my rock, my cheerleader, and my constant source of laughter. With the best sense of humor and a heart full of love, she’s been there for me through every high and low. Strong, loyal, and endlessly supportive, Ashley is an incredible mother and someone who always goes above and beyond to make things special for those she loves. And let’s not forget—she’s the hippest woman I know, effortlessly stylish, always ahead of the curve, and hands-down the best dancer on any floor. I had the honor of standing by Ashley’s side on her wedding day in 2001, and having her by mine as my matron of honor fills my heart in the most special way. Oh! - and Ashley is a professional photographer, but for September 13, 2025, I’ve graciously given her the day off—no camera in hand, just fun and celebration!

Courtney was my best friend long before she became my step-sister. We’ve known each other since we were 9 years old, bonding in the swimming pool, watching so many episodes of Saved by the Bell and Golden Girls to cruising the streets to the sounds of Ace of Base and Mariah Carey on cassette. From those childhood memories to the honor of being a bridesmaid in her wedding, it’s so special to now have her standing by my side for mine. Courtney is thoughtful, consistent, and impressively organized. She’s incredibly talented—whether it’s singing, teaching, painting, or just about anything she puts her mind to. Her faith is a constant source of inspiration to me, and her help with this wedding has been absolutely instrumental. I’m so blessed to have her in my life and by my side on this special day.

Kayla is my sister-in-law and I love our sister connection. I also love my brother married a gorgeous red head! Kayla is so beautiful and real, with a laugh that brightens up every room. Every time I go home to visit, I can’t wait to see her because I know she’ll make me laugh, lift my spirits, and remind me not to take myself so seriously. I love how we encourage each other, and I’m so grateful for her love, sincerity, and authenticity. Kayla is a hardworking mama and a talented accountant. I have no idea how she does it with three (awesome) young boys, but she balances it all with grace and dedication. I had the honor of being there when she and my brother said “I do,” and it means so much to me that she’s now standing with me on my wedding day.

Lara isn’t just my fiancé’s daughter—she’s my friend, and one of the most incredible people I’ve ever met. She’s beautiful, brilliant, and a Doctor to boot. Lara is so kind and funny. Not only has she accepted me, but she truly makes me feel loved. Lara’s compassion and big heart inspire everyone around her, and her dedication and work ethic are nothing short of remarkable. She has more than welcomed me into her family, and I feel incredibly lucky to call her both family and friend. Lara’s light shines so brightly, and I couldn’t imagine this day without her being a part of it. I’ll always be grateful for the way she’s shared her father with me—it’s a gift I cherish more than words can express. Lara, I love you heaps!

I’ll never forget the first time I met Loni. It was 2020, I spotted her across the room at a sound bath, glowing with her long, flowing golden hair, tanned skin, and lean surfer-like vibe—which is funny, because I later learned she couldn’t swim (well). I was a girl from Mississippi, new to California, and in need of help and love. Loni approached me, shared her experience, strength, and hope, and that meeting truly saved my life. Loni has the best laugh. And let me just say, she rocks leg warmers better than anyone! As a personal trainer, she’s passionate about physical health and wellness, and her dedication to helping others constantly inspires me. Her friendship means the world to me, and I’m so grateful to walk this path of life with her and to have her here with me as I marry the love of my life.

I met Nick in the 8th grade when he and his friends built a skateboard ramp that went up the side of his apartment building. I timidly crossed the street and asked if I could skate his ramp. That moment sparked a lifelong friendship. For the past 40 years, we’ve been laughing and skating through all of life’s ups and downs. Whether we’re reminiscing about the old days or finding new ways to make each other laugh, Nick has been a constant source of friendship and joy. I’m so grateful to have him as one of my two best friends as I marry the love of my life.

I met Barry in the eighth grade on the beaches of Santa Monica. We grew up surfing, playing beach volleyball, and perfecting some hilariously bad English accents. From wearing tiny green shorts while working at the beach club to valet parking together, Barry has been a constant in my life. We’ve shared incredible memories, including fishing trips to Sedona, AZ, and have been there for each other through the birth of our daughters. Barry is the godfather to my daughter, Lara, and I’m the godfather to his daughter, Cece. He’s a kind, funny, and compassionate friend, and I’m lucky to have him as a lifelong companion.

Tim is Alina's brother, and I had the pleasure of meeting him two years ago. It didn’t take long to realize we share the same sense of humor, which made connecting with him so easy. Tim is the father of three young boys, and he somehow makes parenting look both fun and effortless. Whether we’re watching his sons play baseball or just hanging out, Tim’s infectious laugh lights up every room he’s in. I truly love spending time with him and feel lucky to have him as part of this day.

The first time I met Andrew, I noticed we shared the same hairstyle. In that moment, I knew that when I married Alina, he would absolutely be part of the wedding party. Over time, between construction projects for Ashley, his wife, and his full-time job, I got a glimpse of who he truly is—a funny, hardworking, loyal, and fun guy. And when Andrew isn’t working, he’s still working! We’ve had some unforgettable adventures together—riding ATVs, shooting guns, and spending time on the lake. Andrew is always giving—whether it’s sharing his allergy medicine, graciously opening his home when we stay, or extending his warm hospitality. I’m honored to have Andrew as a groomsman. His dedication, humor, and spirit make him someone I’m proud to call family.

The first time I met Jackie was Thanksgiving 2023. With the cool scent of motor oil in the air and those steel-blue eyes, I knew I had to do whatever it took to become part of this family—and here we are. Jackie is one cool cat, a brilliant mechanic, and the town Fire Chief. From the very beginning, Jackie welcomed me into the family with open arms, and I couldn’t be more grateful. He’s always up for an adventure, taking us on side-by-side rides through the stunning outdoors, where his love for nature and good company shines. Jackie has a big heart, and I’m honored to have him stand by my side as a groomsman on our special day
