Getting Around and Staying in Southern California Los Angeles is a sprawling city, but with a little planning, getting around can be a breeze! Here are some tips and options for navigating Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and beyond. Plus, we’ll be sharing details about hotel blocks and accommodations to make your stay even easier! As much as I love the glamour of Beverly Hills, I have to admit—we'd personally choose to stay in Santa Monica near the beach! There’s something magical about waking up to the sound of the ocean and having the sand just a short stroll away. That said, Beverly Hills offers incredible hotels and unbeatable proximity to world-class shopping, dining, and the wedding festivities. Whether you prefer the coastal vibes of Santa Monica or the chic charm of Beverly Hills, there’s a perfect spot waiting for you. We can’t wait to have you here!

Car Rentals Beverly Hills is car-friendly, and rental services are available at airports and in the area. Parking is available in most locations, though street parking may be limited. LA traffic is notorious, so plan extra travel time, especially during rush hours (7–10 AM and 3–7 PM). Use apps like Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze to navigate and find the fastest routes.

Bikes, Scooter Rentals (Fun!) and the OG transportation mode - WalkingBikes, Scooter Rentals (Fun!) and the OG transportation mode - Walking

Bike Rentals: Get your pedal on and experience Santa Monica by bike! With miles of scenic bike paths, including the iconic Marvin Braude Bike Trail along the beach, renting a bike is the perfect way to soak up the sunshine and ocean breeze. Whether you’re cruising to the Pier or exploring nearby Venice, it’s a fun and easy way to see the best of the area. Don’t forget your sunscreen! Zip around with Street Scooters: Street scooters (which you will see everywhere) are a fun and zippy way to get around town—perfect for short trips or exploring Santa Monica and Beverly Hills! They’re safe and easy to use as long as you follow the rules (helmets, bike lanes, and maybe not trying to race your friends down Rodeo Drive). Ride responsibly, and you’re guaranteed a good time! Take a Walk and Explore Walking is one of my favorite ways to get around—it’s the perfect excuse to explore AND get my steps in! Whether you’re strolling down Rodeo Drive, wandering along Santa Monica’s beach paths, or just popping into a café, you’ll see the city up close and personal. Plus, it’s great for balancing out all the amazing food you’ll be trying. Win-win!
