I was first introduced to the Beverly Hills Women’s Club through Rose Weinstein, with whom I had the pleasure of working in the Club’s beautiful gardens. After my time in the gardens, I was hired to host and manage special events at the Club. From that moment, I was captivated by the history and charm of the Club. Founded in 1916, the Club’s property, purchased in 1923, and its iconic clubhouse, built in 1925 by renowned architects Gable & Wyant, are rich in cultural and architectural significance. The Club is included on the National Register of Historic Places and is designated as Landmark #3 by the City of Beverly Hills. What drew me in even more is the Club’s timeless mission, which resonates deeply with me: "The object of this Club shall be the advancement in all lines of general culture, the opportunity for social service, and the upbuilding of community spirit." It is the oldest organization in continuous operation in Beverly Hills outside of City Hall, and I felt a strong connection to its dedication to women, civic engagement, and cultural growth. I’m proud to be a member and work at the Club, which is not only a beautiful venue but also fosters a sense of community and offers the elegant, welcoming atmosphere we envisioned for our wedding. Of course, Sean loves me so much that he fully supported this vision—as long as there was a dance floor involved!
We’ve got you covered! Parking attendants will be on-site to assist drivers in the back parking area located behind the Beverly Hills Women’s Club. When the lot fills up, Parking Attendants will direct guests to available street parking on nearby streets, such as Chevy Chase Drive. We recommend arriving a bit early to allow time for parking and to ensure you’re ready to enjoy the festivities!
September in Beverly Hills is typically warm and sunny, with daytime temperatures averaging in the mid-70s°F (24°C). Evenings can be cooler, so a light jacket or wrap is recommended. Santa Monica in September typically enjoys pleasant, late-summer weather. Daytime temperatures average around 74°F to 80°F (23°C to 27°C), while evenings cool down to around 60°F to 65°F (15°C to 18°C). The days are often sunny with minimal rainfall, making it perfect for outdoor activities and exploring the beach. However, mornings can sometimes start with a light marine layer (fog), which usually burns off by midday. A light jacket or sweater is a good idea for cooler evenings by the ocean!
Our wedding celebration will take place in both beautiful outdoor and elegant indoor settings. The ceremony will be held outside, where we’ll exchange vows surrounded by nature. Afterward, we will transition indoors for drinks, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, cake, and dancing to celebrate the night away!
We kindly request our guests to dress to impress! Suits for gentlemen and elegant dresses for ladies are recommended. While this is an elegant occasion, our main goal is for everyone to feel comfortable, be themselves and enjoy the celebration. Think sophisticated, chic, and ready for a glamorous time in Beverly Hills!
We are delighted to celebrate with our loved ones, both big and small! While we cannot accommodate all little ones, children listed on your invitation are warmly invited to join us on this special day.
