Fort William Henry Hotel

We have secured a special wedding rate at the hotel for our guests. You MUST call the number above and mention that you are attending the Morris-Taylor wedding to receive the discounted rate! There is a 2-night minimum stay, and we have arranged for free transportation to the wedding venue and back from the hotel. Read the "Free Shuttle" section of this page for more details! ABOUT: The Fort William Henry Hotel sits on a southern bluff and overlooks the stunning Lake George. Adjacent to the hotel is the historic fort, originally constructed in 1755 by the British army, which played a pivotal role in both the French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War.

Travel Note

Free Shuttle

We will be providing a free shuttle for hotel guests via school bus (yay!) to and from the venue on the wedding day. Please be ready in the parking lot outside the hotel by 2:10pm on the afternoon of the wedding to take advantage. After the reception, one of the school buses will be dropping off guests briefly at The Garrison, our after-party spot, and then ending back at the hotel by 10:30pm.

Travel Note

Parking

All guests are free to park at the Camp Chingachgook main parking lot during the ceremony and overnight on Saturday. We also encourage anyone staying at the hotel to utilize our shuttle bus that will be departing from the Fort William Henry hotel at 2:15pm on Saturday and returning at 10:30pm.
