Downtown social is an all around fantastic choice for lunch, dinner, or drinks! With specialty cocktails, live music, and an outgoing atmosphere, it’s a perfect place to pop in after wandering through the shops downtown!
The Shirt Factory
This historic gem has evolved from a once 1800's clothing factory, to now a collection of 100 small shops and studios! One of our favorite places to shop locally, stop here for some local souvenirs! You'll find handmade ceramics, local art, loose leaf teas and honeys, salt lamps, and so much more in this maze of a building.
Raul's Mexican Grill
While most of the festivities are closer to the Lake... head to downtown Glens Falls for the best margaritas and tacos around! The molé chicken is our favorite! Stroll the surrounding streets to see some of our favorite local shops.
Stewart’s Ice Cream
With roughly 40 places to get a scoop in the area, we Adirondackers take our ice cream allegiances very seriously. If you want the best ice cream in NY, head to any Stewart’s Shop (12 locations to choose from) and get your favorite flavor, whether it be Peanut Butter Pandemonium, Crumbs along the Mohawk, or Mint Cookie Crumble!
Buck Mountain Trailhead
Coming in to town early and want to do a longer hike? Head to Buck Mtn to get a gorgeous 180° view over Lake George. Keep in mind, this is a challenging 6 mile hike.
