Some of our favorite downtown restaurants are: - Fork: Located in an old bank building in the heart of downtown. Everything they serve is locally sourced! - The Wylder: Great pizza and cocktails! - Bittercreek Alehouse: Great food, cool ambience! They have about 30 beers on tap, and they compost all of the uneaten food (yay for us granola gals!) - 13th Street Pub & Grill: Our first date spot, located in Hyde Park! - Goldy’s Breakfast Bistro: Yummy lil hole in the wall for brunch - 10 Barrel Brewing: Yummy pub food, good beer
Our favorite coffee spots: - Flying M - Java (both in downtown and Hyde Park) - Push and Pour (Bench and Garden City locations, a little out of downtown)
Here are some of our favorite spots to grab a drink and relax: - Brown Beard Brewing: It’s a little out of town, but you won’t find better beer or a more handsome brewer! - Mother Earth Brewery: Right downtown, great beer - The Mode cocktail bar: Located on Main Street, great vibe! - Telaya Winery: Located on the greenbelt - Meriwhether Cider (downtown location): For you non-beer drinkers - Lost Grove Brewery (downtown or Hyde Park locations): Good beer, great vision and mission! - Payette Brewing: Located on the greenbelt. Great outdoor area
Take a walk on our 25 miles of Greenbelt, located right on the river! This photo of us eating tacos on the Greenbelt after biking to our favorite spot. Some of the easiest access points right downtown are: - Kristin Armstrong Municipal Park - Julia Davis Park - Ann Morrison Park - Esther Simplot Park - Warm Springs Golf Course
Boise is a very bike friendly city! Plenty of trails for mountain biking, streets to cruise around downtown, or bike for miles along the green belt. George’s Cycles is a great spot to rent from… then you can pop across the street to Mother Earth Brewery and grab a beer after!
You can rent rafts at the put-in at Barber Park and shuttle right back to the top. Takes 2-3 hours to float to Ann Morrison Park
Boise Farmers Market is an agriculture-focused farmers market featuring locally grown and produced products. With over 90 vendors, you are sure to find local produce, protein and products you will love! There won’t be 90 vendors each week, but there will be at least 65 to 75 and an abundance of goods available.
