We owe our mutual friend (and Officiant), Kristen Tuttle, our deepest gratitude for introducing us several years ago. At the time, we had no idea that we'd become one another's life-long partner. Brea met Kristen in 2014 while on her tour of the Oncology floor where she first started as a new nurse. It took no time before the two quickly bonded over their mutual love of good music and joined one another at local concerts. Kelli met Kristen in 2015 when she moved into the wild Woodlawn house. The house was chock-full of everyday shenanigans and social circles among the housemates naturally overlapped. Kel and Brea initially met in 2017 at a Woodlawn house party. As for the time and space from 2017-2021, they were acquaintances while their true authenticities were taking shape and the stars were aligning for both of them. After all, timing is - always - everything. Kelli moved to Boston in late 2019 (in hindsight, what a time to move to a new city!). As fate would have it, and after navigating the rollercoaster of 2020 in Iowa, she decided to move back to her solid community in Boise in early 2021. As Kelli's return to the City of Trees was imminent, Kristen began to work her magic! In the early days upon Kelli's return, she coordinated a backyard fire with a very small guest list for Kelli and Brea to overlap. As one could imagine, Brea was not timid to lean into the evening while Kelli was shy to interact. The following weekend, the two joined friends for a hike and adventure to Mother Earth Brewery in Nampa. It was then that Brea mustered up the courage to ask Kelli on a date ... while Kelli was nervously walking in circles during their conversation. Their first official date unfolded with a long hike in the Boise foothills, followed by a local beer and burrito in the North End. In those initial weeks, Kelli watched Brea eat dinner alone on dates while struggling to maintain an appetite herself from being physically lovesick! ... and ever since, the two have been on their greatest adventures of this lifetime.
