Karla is Kellen's sister. Karla has seen it all with Kell, the ups and downs and highs and lows (including Kellen's fun emo phase, she is accepting bribes for pics). It was because of our shared fondness and appreciation for the Outer Banks that Kellen decided to move to North Carolina. In Karla's wedding, Kellen's official title was "Kellen of the Bride" so it's only fair that she receive the same merit. A high one at that!
Nicole Larson

After a chance encounter in the bathroom of an event that Nicole and Kellen were working, the stage was set for a bond for life. Nicole and Kellen have mastered the art of "96 conversations at once" (Nicole's husband LOVES when we do this) but it's a language we understand as Capricorns, though polar opposites. Nicole is Kellen's personal sommelier, and a patient one at that. Find her at the reception and toast with one of her famous "boomerang cheers"!

It all started with a Myspace message in 2008, as all great friendships do. Holli and Kellen worked at a boutique on Main St in Huntington together all summer, and instantly (over a shared love of Twilight, Chipotle, and the band Brand New) became "flomos" for life. Through endless PCH drives, Newport arcades, hikes, parties, Brand New concerts, LOTS and lots of vampires, and LOTS and LOTS of Taylor Swift, distance hasn't done anything to their invisible string. Holli and her husband, Dylan, played an important part in Kellen's standards for a partner. After dreaming about a love as inspiring as theirs, Kellen finally realized that she had "the best thing that's ever been mine" in Hunter.
Asher Hallman

Kellen and Asher were roommates while attending Orange Coast College, and were part of a close knit group of friends who spent every day and night together at Kellen's house, usually on the patio. They spent those nights updating the high school yearbook and obsessing over Meatloaf. From ending up in Long Beach at 2am dressed as reindeer (after interacting with actual reindeer in Los Angeles), to Asher patiently modeling for Kellen while she practiced her photography (our apologies to those seagulls), Asher was always there for Kellen whenever she needed anything. When Asher lived in Dallas and Kellen was ping-ponging from coast to coast during her 20s, Asher always opened up her door to Kell to revisit the many nights spent on the couch in Huntington drinking wine and gossiping about people they knew a million years ago.

When Kellen met Lily, who was 2 at the time, Lily took one look at the heart-shaped tattoo on Kellen's foot and immediately went to work giving herself a matching one. And then gave Kell a few more avant-garde minimalist lines allllllllll up and down her legs. Very ahead of her time. They watched the movie "Coraline" no less than 80 times when she was about 4, and Lily has inherited Kellen's indecision for colored hair, cat eye makeup, and emo bands (not Yellowcard, unfortunately, but Kell respects it) Since then, Kellen's heart has grown a million sizes being able to watch her mini-me grow up - she felt so blessed to have moved to North Carolina and be closer to her "niece". Anna Dean

Kellen and Hunter would not have met had it not been for Anna Dean! Anna was one of Kellen's first regulars when she started working in Wendell, and she was the victim of Kellen's "witness protection" prank. Since then, she and her husband, Jim, have spent countless hours and days with Hunter and Kellen. From football games, to New Years parties (Kellen was never able to attend the after parties, unfortunately), to many nights spent talking on porches, Kellen and Hunter would not be celebrating this milestone had it not been for her.
