There are incredible places to explore in Wilmington and the surrounding areas. Hunter and I love to go to the river-front district, home to our favorite restaurant Anne Bonny's - a restaurant literally on the water. In the historic district, there are a few different houses - many a few hundred years old - that give tours. Kellen's favorite is the Historic Haunted Tours and the Museum of the Bizarre. Carolina Beach is just a short ride from Beau Rivage, and gives an opportunity to explore local beaches and eateries. Hunter and Kellen enjoy hiking local trails and checking out Airlie Gardens. Hunter REALLY enjoys golfing at Beau Rivage. They both absolutely love spending the day at the Fort Fisher aquarium - a must see for our friends with children.
