Kaytlynn's wonderful sister-in-law with a fiery spirit, mother to two adorable daughters, and (unfortunately) married to my brother Austin. Over the years Cristina has been a great example of a hard-working fierce woman and I am honored to have her standing by my side on my big day.

Best Man
Allen is Victor's favorite brother, whether he likes it or not. He's been there since the beginning and has always been the one to set the bar high for Victor to meet or exceed, and always encouraged Victor to do so. He's the older brother that bullied Victor with love and yet Victor couldn't ask for a better one, because no such brother exists.
Patrice Davison

What better way to meet the family than all at once at a large family Mardi Gras party in Ohio? Despite the bombardment, Patrice helped me navigate the family and was quick to welcome me. From midnight giggles and shenanigans, and Betty White (RIP) documentaries, she already feels like a sister to me. I am excited to have her be by my side and for me to join the family.

Victor's best friend for as long as he can remember, at least 23 of their 27 years. Setup to be friends by each other's mothers, they could not be anything but friends. Growing up, they lived down the street from each other so building a close friendship was easy. Many friendships die in adulthood as they move apart, but even when college and work pulled them away, they still found the time to travel cross-state or cross-country. It was an easy price to pay as it was no longer a friendship, but a new brotherhood.

Fortunately or unfortunately for Lexi, she was stuck with me the moment she met Will since Will and Victor are inseparable at times. To laser tag in summer of 2021, late night talks before her wedding, and being by her side on her big day, I am happy to call her my friend. Together we just might survive Will and Victor.

Groomsman
Will is the "new one" of the groomsman. Will came to Victor's national guard unit a couple months after he did. He unfortunately thought Victor knew everything being a higher rank, but Victor was only teaching him things Victor just learned himself. However, that didn't stop him from clinging to Victor's side like a lost puppy in those early days. Some national guard bonding, adventures, felonies that are now past the statute of limitations, and naming his first born son after Victor, has quickly forged a new brotherhood.

Bridesmaid
Victor's favorite and best niece. Patrice's one and only daughter. Her sassy spirit is 100% a chip off the old block and Patrice has only herself to bless/blame. She has been flower girl for many weddings, so it seems only natural that as soon as she's "too old" that she immediately makes her way into the bridesmaid party.
Mike Nitos
Groomsman
Mike is one of many of Victor's cousins on the Nitos side, but one of a kind. He's one of the reasons that "extended" family and "immediate" family are one in the same to Victor. Whether it was simple inclusion of Allen and Victor with his own neighborhood friends and family like it was just another day on the block, or the ever loving and doting on from Aunt Susie (may she rest in peace) that made her feel like a second mother. Those formative years growing up are unforgettable because of Mike.
Batman
Officiant
Batman, not-so-secret identity of Steve Conner, is a crime stopper, pastor of Free Will Baptist Chapel, and long time friend of Victor's father Philip, may he rest in peace. He's the kind of man that invites anyone and everyone into his home and talks to them like he's known them for years. For a long time he enlisted Philip to be "chef Phil" at his yearly Conner Block Party. A dynamic duo that made the parties famous. He lives Jesus' command of being salt and light and in doing so was the salt and light Victor needed when Victor's world was dark and bland. He and his family are near and dear to the Nitos family. Kaytlynn & Victor are honored that he will be the one to marry them.
Ricky Joynt
Groomsman
Ricky is one of Victor's many, many cousins on the Kolbe side. Growing up, going to Dearborn for Kolbe family parties, there just was never enough time to enjoy everything. There was never a dull moment. As such, like clock work, Allen and Victor would beg their parents, and Ricky would beg his, for spending the night at each other's house. Of course, as kids, we never saw issue. After all, driving across Detroit was simple teleportation: we fell asleep and then we arrived instantly. Ricky had all of the coolest things to share with us and was always glad to do so. As such, not only becoming the "cool cousin" in my mind, but really embodied the "what's mine is yours and what's yours in mine" in family.

Kaytlynn's niece and one of the cutest and sassiest flower girls you will ever see. Lover of French Fries and keeping mom and dad on their toes.
Austin Chism
Flower Man
Kaytlynn's brother, and somehow he convinced Cristina to marry him. Sassy AF, and thankfully his daughters inherited that trait to give it right back to him. He's always been a shining example to Kaytlynn on loyalty, hard-work, and respect. He is one of her best cheerleaders (only rivaled by her mother, of course), and still hopes for his 15% for his cheerleading efforts. His love for his amazing wife is also an example Kaytlynn looks up to to have in her own marriage. Not to mention, what an amazing sister he has.

Kaytlynn's niece and the happiest and the second most adorable flower girl, rivaled only by her sister. A contagious laugh and lover of mashed potatoes.
Jef Thompson
Flower Man
Kaytlynn's brother-from-another-mother, and Austin's best friend since elementary school. Goofy, sassy, and the best all around. Jef has the biggest sense of humor and can keep any conversation fun. There was no way Kaytlynn could have her wedding with her two brothers, and he was delighted to check another wedding role off his list.

Mother of the Bride
Kaytlynn's mother - and the super-woman of moms. Obviously where Kaytlynn got her good looks and her gentle, loving spirit. Kaytlynn's always looked up to her strong and caring spirit. There aren't enough words to express the caring, loving, and supporting mother she has been to Kaytlynn. She will always be her best friend.

Kaytlynn's father - the man, the myth, the legend. Where Kaytlynn got her appreciation for stupid humor, and was the one that hooked her into watching "scary" movies to laugh at them. Always pushing her to be her best, Kaytlynn will always be his little girl, just "all grown up and saving China and all."
