FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what is listed, feel free to reach out to to one of us!
Question

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We are planning a kid-free wedding. The only kids in attendance will be Kaytlynn & Victor's nieces, which are all part of the wedding. Plan to have a babysitter and come party with us kid free for a night! We understand this may make it difficult for some to attend, but hope to have you there if you can!

Question

Where is the MI ceremony?

Answer

Free Will Baptist Church - Madison Heights.

Question

Where is the MI reception?

Answer

Freedom Hill Banquet and Event Center, Sterling Heights, MI.

Question

When do we need to RSVP by?

Answer

March 27th, 2022! We need to get the final count to the venue, if you don't have your RSVP in time for us to include you for the final count you could be missed and your seats no longer reserved. Please be timely in your response. You can RSVP by mailing us the RSVP card that was enclosed in your invite OR on our website. Questions? Not sure if we received your RSVP? Contact us!

Question

Are you only having a wedding in Michigan?

Answer

Yes. Some may have heard that we were planning to do a Maryland mini wedding, and you heard correctly. However, after long discussion we made the decision to stick with only our Michigan wedding. We know this means some cannot travel to celebrate with us, but we know you will be there in spirit. If you are considering attending but not sure if you can make it work, reach out to one of us! Also see our "travel" and "things to do" page. If you still have any questions, feel free to reach out to one of us!

Question

Dress code?

Answer

We have listed on the events page a semi-formal dress code. The ceremony is being held at a church and the reception will follow at a banquet hall.

Question

I'm coming from out-of-town, what will the weather be like in Michgan?

Answer

For the non-Michigan natives, the weather could still be chilly/cold. Plan to pack layers, and be mindful of the potential chill when choosing your wedding guest attire. We recommend checking the weather before you leave - you can always check back on the website as we will probably make an "announcement" of sorts for the weather as it gets closer to the wedding date.

Question

What about accommodations, i'm traveling from out of town ?

Answer

Please see our "travel" page for any information regarding hotel blocks. We are so excited you are making the trip to come celebrate our big day!

Question

Can I take pictures with my phone? Will phones be allowed?

Answer

While we will encourage as much of a device-free night, we have no intention of making you leave the phone at home - we love pictures! However, we ask that you also be respectful that we paid a photographer to take pictures for us to capture our special day. Please allow the photographers to do their job. We instead task you with capturing as many photos during reception when the photographers are getting ready to retire! We promise to share our professional photos once we receive them back from the photographer for anyone who would like them.

Question

Is there a hashtag?

Answer

Yes! Use #TheNitosOurs! We want to see all the pictures of the reception!

Question

When is the Maryland ceremony & reception?

Answer

There will not be one! Please refer to the question above that also addresses this ("Are you only having a wedding in Michigan"). Our Michigan wedding will be the only chance for you to celebrate us officially getting married. We may consider doing a vow renewal in the near future for Maryland, but don't hold us to that!

Question

Why are you getting married so soon in April 2022?

Answer

Why not? Also, we have Victor's pending National Guard schedule to thank for that. But it works out because, first and foremost, we are ready to be married! Also, April is a good month, awesome people are born in the month of April. :)
