More than just cousins, Justin and Gaston share a bond as close as brothers. Growing up across the hall from each other in New York, they were inseparable. Their fathers shared a similar bond, which meant their childhood was filled with laughter, card games, soccer matches, and impromptu dance-offs. When it came time to choose a best man, Gaston knew almost immediately that it had to be Justin. Their connection is one of genuine positivity and support. Whether they're engrossed in a video game, exploring every pizza style imaginable, indulging in their favorite chocolate chip cookies, sharing amazing Latin food, or debating the finer points of Dragon Ball Z and life philosophy, their time together is always filled with joy. But their bond goes beyond just having fun. Justin has always been there for Gaston, offering a listening ear and genuine support through life's ups and downs. When Justin met Kaylie, he immediately recognized the special connection they share, telling Gaston, "I get it bro. Not everybody has what you guys have." Gaston feels incredibly fortunate to have Justin by his side as his best man, celebrating this new chapter in his life.

Did you read about the friend that pointed Gaston out to Kaylie, and the friend that left early on purpose? This is her! Savannah and Kaylie quickly became best friends when Kaylie randomly found a Zumba class in her new home town that Savannah was instructing. Not only did Savannah introduce Kaylie to Gaston, she also introduced Kaylie to the Latin dance community that created the domino effect that leads us to the big day. Savannah has an intoxicatingly welcoming presence that draws people in, and makes them feel comfortable. That reason alone was enough to connect Kaylie and Savannah as good friends, but they quickly became like sisters from their moments of laughing uncontrollably with perfectly synchronized laughs, showing up for each other when they just needed a friend, and supporting each others dreams and adventures. Kaylie is extremely grateful to have someone that's so strong, validating, caring, and a blast to be as her Maid-of Honor. And overall, both Kaylie and Gaston value her friendship more than they could ever express in these words.

Summer holds a special place in Kaylie and Gastón's story, as the creator of the dance community that brought them together. She was one of the first to hear about Kaylie's crush on Gastón, and fatefully, they ran into her on their very first date—what are the chances? Summer is the life of the party, pouring her heart into every connection she makes. As officiant, Summer brings her signature warmth and emotion, so bear with her as she makes it through the ceremony. True to her history with the dance community, her heartfelt speeches often lead to happy tears and a few jumbled words when excitement overtakes her. Kaylie and Gastón knew even before their engagement that if anyone could officiate their wedding, it would be Summer.

Father of the Bride

Kaylie's dad has always been her rock, the smartest, most skilled man she's looked up to. From him, she learned her handy skills and her love for event management, helping him pull off amazing gatherings like the strawberry festival and "Block-toberfest." - memories she will always hold dear, along with many others, like riding in the shopping cart and him chasing after it as if Kaylie and the cart were getting away. She knew he’d always have her back, never letting her quit, and offering the best advice every time: “Be safe, and have fun.” His unwavering dedication to putting his wife and kids first has set a powerful example for her, shaping her vision of the kind of love and commitment she deserves.

Gaston

Father of the Groom

Gaston, his father, is the embodiment of hard work and sacrifice. Migrating from Colombia with nothing more than a wallet and a broken watch, he built a life for his family through sheer determination and a loving heart. He also passed on many of his dance moves, his sense of style, and yes…even his height! Gaston will always cherish the memories of their years of soccer training together, spending hours on the field rain or shine. His father was always there to push him to be his best, both on and off the field. He has been the best example of persistence Gaston could ever ask for.

Tammie

Mother of the Bride

Kaylie’s mom is her source of warmth and comfort, the place she could lay her head and find peace as her mom would gently comb through her hair with her fingers. Many friends throughout Kaylie's life would likely agree, Tammie becomes a second mom for them - she has the biggest heart. From her, Kaylie gained a creative eye and a love for music and dance—perhaps thanks to the family theory that her mom instilled rhythm in her kids by patting their backs to the beat of the lullabies, while rocking them to sleep. And when her mom turns into "Fun Tammie," she might just be the funniest one in the family. Though some family may try to claim this, we all know when Tammie gets giggly, her laugh is so infectious that no one can resist joining in. Especially when she elbow nudges you to join in.

Maria

Mother of the Groom

Maria has always been Gaston's rock. She instilled in him a sense of compassion, perseverance, and yes, maybe a little bit of stubbornness too! From countless hours of Monopoly and Nintendo to their Friday night bagel pizza tradition, Gaston's childhood was filled with laughter and love thanks to his mom. She also taught him the importance of hard work, migrating to the USA from the Dominican Republic at a young age to give her children a better life. He'll never forget watching her work tirelessly, always with a smile, to make sure they had every opportunity to succeed. Maria has been Gaston's "Why" for many things, including his career path, and she's the reason he has such a big heart.

Kaylie grew up with 2 older brothers, that essentially were like extra dads. They were protective of their baby sister, and still are to this day. She has always looked up to them - Ben, being the oldest she witnessed his dedication to his dream and the talented mind that he put towards a successful career, while creating a beautiful family. Jacob, while also putting in the work to obtain his dreams, he role modeled having life-long friends, and taking chances on life experiences, like studying abroad where he met his soul-mate.

Stephanie

Groom's Sister - Welcome Party

Stephanie and Gaston share a bond that only siblings can understand. From childhood adventures to life's biggest milestones, they have always been there for each other. Growing up, their days were filled with laughter and shared passions: dancing together, playing wiffle ball in the backyard, cheering for the Colombian soccer team, and savoring sweet mangos picked fresh from their Grandma's tree. Gaston even let Stephanie have an unplugged controller so she could pretend to play video games alongside him! But their connection runs deeper than just shared fun. They've been each other's constant support, always there to lend a shoulder to cry on and celebrate life's victories. Seeing Stephanie and Jabri become parents to two beautiful children has been an incredible joy, and Gaston is immensely proud of the family they've built. Through thick and thin, their bond remains unbreakable.
