FAQs

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Barring weather issues, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors with the reception indoors. Weather in mid March can fluctuate from warm to cold, so please keep an eye on the weather as it gets closer.

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is formal attire.

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 4:30. please arrive no later than 4:15. The reception is next to a lovely bar, so feel free to come before and get the party started earlier! A complimentary glass of champagne will also be offered to our guests upon their arrival/prior to the start of the ceremony.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one or additional family members?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list due to planning our celebration from abroad. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your official wedding invitation.

Question

Should I bring a physical gift to the wedding?

Answer

Since you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! If you do choose to browse our wedding registry, however, any items on the list can be shipped directly to our home address. This is just easier for the logistics of the weekend. Cards are of course easily brought home, but we recommend shipping any gifts you purchase or coordinating with us ahead of time if you need to.

Question

Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?

Answer

Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled all of our favorite local hot spots and fun things to do in the area. We are also open to other ideas to add to that page, so feel free to let us know some of your favorite spots if you have been to Florence!
