Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN)

SUN is the most convenient airport option. The Sun Valley airport is a 20-25 minute drive to Ketchum. Most hotels provide complimentary shuttles (call your hotel ahead of time to book); otherwise, you can rent a car, call a cab, or use the Mountain Shuttle (a free shuttle option - see link for timetable). For our east coast friends, you will need to have a layover. We suggest SLC for Delta and DEN/ORD for United. If you don't want to connect, you can fly into SLC and it is about a 4.5 hour drive to Sun Valley.

Transportation

When you visit Sun Valley, transportation around the area is a breeze. No need to rent a car if you're not planning on leaving town; just hop on one of the FREE and easy Mountain Rides buses that will get you where you need to go around Ketchum and Sun Valley. See the link for the bus schedule. This can also take you to and from the airport. We will provide transportation to and from Ketchum for the wedding. Once into town, everything in town is walking distance, but we’d recommend a rental car for those who might like to hike or explore the rest of the Valley. Located in downtown Ketchum. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to/from the Hailey Sun Valley airport and around Ketchum. They have a complimentary full hot buffet breakfast, complimentary bikes, and beautiful amenities including an outdoor pool. This is where the wedding busses will leave from. We have set up a room block - please use the link, or, if you want to change room type, call the Hotel directly and request the Reservations Department to book under the Meyer-Couch Wedding block. There is a 30 day cancellation policy.

Located in downtown Ketchum. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars. Right across the street from the Limelight Hotel where the buses will be. We have a group discount under The Meyer-Couch Wedding. Please call the hotel DIRECTLY and reference the group name to receive the discounted rates. You can cancel with no penalty 7 days prior to arrival.

Sun Valley Lodge ($$$$)

The famous Sun Valley Lodge is located in the heart of Sun Valley village, located one mile outside of town. Please note that it is outside of town a bit, so if you want to be within walking distance, you may want to stay in town. They provide complimentary airport shuttles and world-class amenities. Even if you don't stay at the Lodge, it is worth visiting.

There are rentals of all shapes and sizes available throughout Sun Valley and Ketchum, which provide a great option for large groups and can be more cost effective. Vrbo is often cheaper than Airbnb! We urge you to reach out to us if you're considering a rental house! Uber and Lyft do NOT exist in the area -- we can help make sure your spot is close to town and shuttle pickups for the weekend's events. You'll largely want to stay within the "grid" of Ketchum on Google Maps.
