Things To Do

You really can't go wrong in Tuscany. Everywhere you turn, there's incredible food, stunning views, and centuries of history. Here are a few places we've visited and loved, but honestly, wandering without a plan has its own magic. Pro tip: Book tickets in advance for popular attractions. Trust us on this. Katie may have accidentally booked our Colosseum tour for the wrong day, and by the time we noticed, it was sold out. Brian has definitely forgiven her. Probably.
La Cantina Di Nozzole

La Cantina Di Nozzole

12 Via di Nozzole, Toscana 50022, Italy

We first had their wine on a date in Boston's North End. Getting to try the grapes fresh off the vine was so cool to us! We only ended up discovering Panzano in Chianti (the village where we'll have our wedding) by accident, after a public transportation mishap had us missing our tour at Nozzole. We needed to reschedule for the next day, spend the night in Greve in Chianti, and then discovered the amazing village of Panzano.

Uccelliera

Uccelliera

Castelnuovo dell’Abate, Tuscany 53024, Italy

Schedule a tour in advance - one of our favorite vineyards!

Taverna del Grappolo Blu

Montalcino

Montalcino

Montalcino, Tuscany 53024, Italy

You can't go wrong, anywhere in this town! We arrived in a thunderstorm and hunkered down in a restaurant with a glass of wine overlooking the rolling hills.

Santo Spirito Market

Piazza Santo Spirito, Firenze, Toscana 50125, Italy

The perfect Sunday stop in Florence for a flea market! Second and third Sunday of the month, typically from 9am to 2pm.

Cascate del Mulino

Cascate del Mulino

Strada Vicinale Molino del Bagno, 9/a, 58014 Manciano GR, Italy, Saturnia, Toscana 58014, Italy

You might see this as an instagram influencer recommendation... If you're interested, go for sunrise, or else parking will be a nightmare and crowds will detract from the natural beauty.
