Kick off the weekend with us! Join us for a casual dinner as we welcome everyone and celebrate the start of our wedding weekend. A perfect chance to mingle, relax, and get excited for the big day! Please note that this restaurant is a traditional macelleria (butcher-style restaurant), meaning the menu is centered around meat and regional specialties. Dinner will be served family-style as part of a fixed prix fixe menu selected in advance by the restaurant. Also, due to the nature of the restaurant and its set-menu format, meat and vegetarian menu options cannot be combined or substituted during this meal. However, no matter whether you choose the meat or vegetarian option, the food will be made with love. Dinner begins promptly at 7 pm. The restaurant has emphasized the importance of timeliness for food preparation and the overall experience. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early. We intend to be there to greet everyone by 6:45pm.

We'll gather in the courtyard to exchange vows, then celebrate together with an aperitivo before dinner. It's the heart of our weekend, and we're so grateful to have you there with us. Attire is cocktail or semi-formal—check our Q&A section for more guidance. We ask that guests arrive at the courtyard of La Pensione, which is located through the front doors of the hotel and to the right, between 4:15pm and 4:30pm, to be seated by 4:45pm for the wedding ceremony.
Wedding Dinner & Reception

On our first night at La Pensione di Vignamaggio (hotel) in 2022, we asked the front desk for dinner recommendations. The attendant listed a few local spots, then mentioned he was taking his father to il Vescovino that evening—his personal favorite. He offered to make us a reservation, and we couldn't resist. The restaurant is run by a Brazilian-Italian family: the father (now grandfather) is a meat expert, the mother (now grandmother) is the maître d', their son is the pasta chef, and his wife makes the pastries. The young couple recently welcomed their first baby and have a second on the way. The food is incredible, and the family makes you feel right at home—with plenty of laughs along the way. After dinner ends at 10pm, we will return to La Pensione di Vignamaggio for drinks and dancing. The hotel is a short, easy stroll down the hill from the restaurant; however, a van will be available to transport anyone who needs assistance or would prefer not to walk.

Pool Party

The day after the wedding, we're keeping things low-key with an afternoon by the pool. Sleep in, grab some lunch in town, and then join us for swimming, sunbathing, and catching up. It's the perfect chance to relax, recover from the dance floor, and soak in a little more time together before everyone heads home. Casual attire and swimsuits welcome! Please note that use of the pool will be limited to hotel guests to comply with hotel policies.

As the sun sets over the Tuscan hills one last time, join us on the patio for a casual evening of wine, local pizza, and conversation. Feel free to bring a bottle to share with your group if you'd like—we'll simply enjoy the view, pizza (GF options included), company, and a few more laughs. No formalities, just good wine, good food, and even better people.

Goodbye Brunch

Our last morning together! The hotel is offering a complimentary brunch for all hotel guests, so let's gather one more time before everyone heads home. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, relive the best moments from the weekend, and squeeze in those final hugs. It will have been unforgettable— we thank you for being part of it all. If you are not staying at the hotel but would like to attend the "goodbye brunch," please let us know so we can notify the hotel and ensure there's enough food.
