Based on the 2018 prices, the park entrance fee is $35 per vehicle, which is good for 7 days. If you are planning any other national park visit in the year, you can also consider the $80 annual pass. If you are staying inside the park, you will likely need one of these options anyways. If you are only planning on coming in and out the day of the wedding, we suggest checking with other guests and carpooling into the park.
Yes! There are decent showers at the campground. They are coin operated, and cost $2.00 for 8 minutes of shower time. Bring shower shoes! Bonus: There are also laundry facilities in the shower building.
Yes! There is one composting toilet that is handicap accessible at Shoshone Point. There is NOT running water, but we will supply SaniWipes and hand sanitizer in addition to a few other comforts.
That’s an excellent question, albeit with a tricky response. Please contact us if you are interested in bringing a plus one, as space is very limited. If there is space then we would love for your loved one to come with you!
There are several restaurants, grills and cafes easily accessed in the park, and there are also 2-3 small grocery stores, one of which is right next to the campground. This grocery store had reasonably priced items available (compared to Seattle standards at least!). If you fly in then you can also go to a grocery store before driving to the park. FYI: if you are camping and are interested in sharing food costs, we are more than happy to connect you with other campers! Even if you are staying in a hotel, feel free to stop in, cook a meal (someone will share a stove or campfire with you), and hang out for a while.
