Once upon a time there was a man named Brandon, who was searching for love, and a girl named Katie, who had no intentions of ever seeking love. God, however, had a different plan, and Katie woke up one morning with a very sudden urge to join eHarmony- and being rather impulsive, she immediately joined eHarmony and rather quickly met a man: Brandon. After some back and forth chatting on eHarmony, they planned to meet for drinks at Katie’s favorite little brewery in Greenlake. As they arrived and met, it was packed to overflowing; however true love cannot be stopped and the newly introduced couple sprung into action to find an alternate location at "The Lodge" just down the street. After a few hours and a lot of talking... the stage was set to start our future together. Not too long into the relationship, opportunities for Brandon at work put him in to a full time travel job, which definitely put the relationship to the test. It also gave Katie time to travel the world. Diamond mining in Arkansas (didn't find anything though), all while Brandon was fighting what was unknown at the time to be Mono. Some weekend travel to Denver, but also two chances for Katie to visit Brandon abroad in Japan, Thailand, and later a trip to Hong Kong.

On March 11, 2018, Brandon decided that he would surprise Katie with a ring as kind of a celebration and memorable moment to mark 2 years since first meeting. While they had talked about it many times, she had no idea what was coming at that moment. Just like our first date, Brandon's original plan to propose at Bridavail falls was thwarted by a closed trail, so he let Katie pick an alternate hike. As they hiked to Oyster dome, Brandon was nonchalant and unsuspecting; but concerned about the crowds since he knew Katie wanted a more private proposal. We finally found a secluded cliff top. "As I pulled out the ring, I don't even think I got to the words "marry me" because she was in disbelief I was actually asking her right there." --Brandon So... here we are...
