You can reserve a shuttle pick up from the airport directly to your hotel (and back again!) using the link below. Round-trip is $44 per person.

Uber

We HIGHLY recommend downloading the Uber app and using this cab service to get around the city. You can Uber from the airport and anywhere else you may need. It's about $40 total to get from the airport into New Orleans and about $10 for any other trip within the city. Lyft is another cab service app, similar to Uber. Sometimes you can get discounts if you're a first-time user! You could also use a cab to and from the airport for about the same price, but it's more difficult to hail a cab once you're in the city. We don't recommend a rental car because parking can be difficult here (it's also pricey to park your car at most hotels).

Streetcar

The streetcar is Kt's personal favorite way to travel around the city (when she isn't in a hurry). You can buy fares and passes online or using the brand new RTA app! If you're buying on the streetcar, be sure to have exact change! Click the link to view routes and purchase passes in advance.

House Or Rental

House Rentals (Airbnb)

Short-term rentals are a great way to stay in New Orleans! There are plenty of rental properties in New Orleans through AirBnB or VRBO. The Bywater neighborhood (where the ceremony and reception will be held) is pretty artsy and trendy with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Keep your housing search on the riverside of St. Claude Avenue. The Garden District and Lower Garden District (where Kt and Kevin live!) are both charming and are about a 15 minute Uber ride from the Bywater. Magazine Street and St. Charles Avenue are both great anchors for your housing search in these neighborhoods. Magazine St. is filled with shops and restaurants and St. Charles is home to the streetcar! If you have any questions about housing or want us to check an address for you, feel free to text us! The hotel has complimentary breakfast and Wifi. You will need to pay the first night as a non-refundable deposit 30 days in advance. While the block of rooms is no longer guaranteed, you can call the the hotel (use the number here and ask for Ernest) to book a room. There are plenty other hotels throughout the city, so feel free to browse. Maison St. Charles is a great inexpensive option (also has a pool and complimentary breakfast.) Hampton Inn New Orleans-St. Charles Ave./Garden District

We have a block of rooms reserved (Thursday - Sunday night) at the Hampton Inn on St. Charles for a discounted price. The hotel is right on the St. Charles Streetcar line near plenty of bars and restaurants. They provide complimentary hot breakfast, a pool, and Wifi. There is a parking lot available for $15/night. To get the discounted rate of $179/night, please make your reservation before 2/7/2019 (but we really recommend sooner!).
