6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Casual Attire
Let us welcome you to South Carolina by showing you some good 'ole fashioned southern hospitality! Everyone is invited to attend a welcome party the night before the wedding - buffet dinner and drinks to be provided. Feel free to pop in or out as you please, as the restaurant is located right next to the main hotel we're recommending everyone stay at (the Charleston Kiawah Island/Andell Inn).
4:30 pm
We will have shuttles to bring guests over from the Charleston Kiawah Island/Andell Inn to the Ocean Course on the day of the wedding. The shuttles will arrive at the hotel at 4:30 PM, and leave the hotel at around 4:50 PM to ensure they arrive in time for the ceremony. There will be shuttles leaving from the reception and going back to the hotel starting at 9:30 PM, with the last shuttle departing from the Ocean Course at 11:00 PM when festivities shut down for the night. You do not need to be a guest of the Inn to use the shuttle, but the shuttles will be leaving from, and returning to, that location. Other than the wedding venue, the shuttles will not be making any other stops. If you do not wish to use the shuttles, please contact either Matt or Kathryn, and we can assist you in booking your own, separate transportation.
5:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Standard wedding attire recommended (i.e., button downs, slacks, dresses, pantsuits, skirts... you know the drill. Suit jackets/blazers and ties are optional). The ceremony and reception will be on the grass, so keep that in mind for shoe options.
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
After the ceremony, we'll journey a few feet over to the covered tent where drinks and appetizers will be served!
7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Cocktail hour will lead straight into dinner, drinks, and dancing. Dinner is a plated dinner with your choice of entree, starting with an appetizer of caesar salad, and concluding with a miniature dessert display.
2:00 pm
While we don't plan on doing a brunch after the wedding, if you're still in town and getting hungry, look to join Matt and I in buying yourself a sandwich at one of our favorite spots - the Tattooed Moose - for an after wedding lunch.
