Question

Will there be a shuttle?

Answer

Yes - shuttles will run from 9pm-11pm on Saturday at the end of the reception. They will stop at La Quinta Inn & Suites and Frog & Peach Pub in downtown SLO (where the after-party's going down). You may leave cars at the wedding venue overnight if you'd like. They must be picked up before noon on Sunday.

What's the parking situation at El Chorro Regional Park (for the Welcome Party and Sunday Brunch)?

Answer

You'll pass a gate attendant upon entering El Chorro Regional Park. Mention our event name - either "Katelyn and Brian's wedding" or "Beer/Yale wedding", etc. - and they'll waive their $3 entrance fee. For the Welcome Party, follow Dairy Creek Road until you reach the Botanical Gardens (google maps will get you there correctly). Parking is located in front of the Botanical Gardens in the lot across the street. Cars cannot be left overnight - please plan for a DD or uber/lyft. For Sunday Brunch, continue into El Chorro Regional Park towards the "Poppy" day use area. Park in the lot closest to the Poppy site.

What's the weather like in SLO?

Answer

It's likely going to be pleasantly warm during the day (70s to low 80s), with chillier temps at night (low 50s). We recommend bringing a jacket or warm-ish light layer to the welcome party and the wedding. The wedding will be outdoors, and we'll move into the barn after dinner to boogie.
