Katelyn and Brian met in the dorms at Cal Poly, SLO back in 2009. They were immediately drawn to each other. Little did they know, they’d be tying the knot just down the street a mere 12.5 years later. Their shared love of live music, snowboarding, and good times made it easy to find excuses to spend all of their free time together. Brian asked Katelyn to officially be his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day in 2010 with a mix CD he’d made for her, both secretly deciding that this was the one. They spent the rest of college gathering the best group of shared lifelong friends, going to festivals, going on ski trips, and spending summers long distance while Katelyn worked at a summer camp in Pennsylvania. After graduating, they moved in together - first, sharing a room in a house full of dudes, then getting their own apartment in Morro Bay, and finally upgrading to the cute little house they currently share with their cat, Ozzy Pawsbourne. After many more adventures, fun times, love, and a little loss, they realized that being together was what each of them wanted to do forever. They got engaged on a picturesque hike while camping in the Eastern Sierra in July of 2020 and got stoked to plan a wedding during a pandemic.
