Best Man
Who knew two security guards at North Providence’s most famous summer getaway would turn into a friendship that required best man duties? Known for busting balls, Kenny has taught me some of the more important thing in life. The only person I call more is my mother.
Maid of Honor
We met junior year of college and have been inseparable since. We couldn't be more different but when you see us together, it just makes sense. One of us is the calm & cool one, the other (writing this) the neurotic and crazy one. She is everything you would hope for in a best friend - incredibly loving, inspiring and hilarious. To call her my maid of honor is not enough, I am completely tied to her. She's forever the Ann to my Leslie. You hear that you beautiful tropical fish?
Officiant & Groomsmen
My brother from another mother and there from day 1 of me meeting Kat. Prab was the first person I met in San Francisco when I moved there 8 years ago, we became fast friends and traveled the world together. Unlike my other friends, he doesn’t have a history of passing out, which is good since he’ll be conducting the ceremony.
Bridesmaid
As a type-A planner & list-maker, I met my match when we crossed paths 6 years ago. And I'm so glad we did. She has the strongest head on her shoulders and I look to her for guidance on almost everything in life. She is cool, confident, and I can't wait for the day when I'll be working on her Presidential campaign. She inspires me to try new things and stay open-minded. She is a bosswoman cheering on her fellow bosswomen, and I'd follow her anywhere.
Groomsman
First rule in roadside beet sales, put the most attractive beets on top. The ones that make you pull the car over and go, "Wow. I need this beet right now." Those are the money beets. And that's why Jesse is up there with me. Great guy, and even better friend. Always down to grab a beer, go to a game, or fly to Oktoberfest. Everybody needs a Jesse Earl in their lives.
Bridesmaid
I have watched this beauty grow up from day 1. She is my true little sister, the one I asked Santa for every Christmas when I was younger. She is so bright, sharp, and has a heart that's thoughtful beyond her years. Watching her enjoy life, run the world, and just be her adorably awkward self is an absolute joy. Her favorite pastimes include: happy hour, day drinking, bottomless brunch, beer gardens, and beverages. Our future is bright with this one.
Groomsman
Brandon, the first person who taught me the signs of passing out (which I’ll never forget because it was those words that helped me diagnose my syncope at Ariel’s wedding). Brandon and I experienced many of our life phases together, including an awesome 4+ year run in San Francisco. Always the life of the party and quick with a joke. Thank God we don't have karaoke at this wedding or every guy would be heading back home alone.
Bridesmaid
We're perhaps each others' longest relationship we've ever had thanks to living together throughout 8 years and 5 different homes. We've been coined the house mom (her) and the house dad (me), and we're forever roomies (even now, in spirit!). Our favorite roomie activities include: running errands together while gossiping, texting each other about millennial office etiquette, and cheering each other on for staying in on a Saturday night.
Groomsman
Ariel was my first friend in high school and he quickly became my second family. I spent pretty much all my free time from the ages of 15-24 at his house (lots of Halo and DiGiorno) and we were inseparable until the day I left for San Francisco. Hey, we've come a long way since Ms. Tiangs class, eh?
Bridesmaid
She’s the world’s best dog mom and a strong advocate for full glasses of wine at all times. We go way back to our awkward high school years full of flat ironed hair and Abercrombie low-rise jeans, homecomings and prom. We both ventured out West for college and have gotten even closer over the years as we navigated all the life our 20s had to offer. And I cannot imagine my 30s, 40s, and forever without her. She’s the best support, cheerleader, and she’s not like a regular bestie...she’s a cool bestie.
Groomsman
Hey, don't pass out. Boom Roasted. jk, but seriously. Jeff and I have a running competition to see who can pass out at the most weddings (score is currently tied). All jokes aside, Jeff has been one of my best friends since high school, fun, quick-witted, the type of guy who will give you the shirt off his back - just don't forget to wish him a happy birthday. Obrigado
Bridesmaid
She is the sweetest, pint-sized beauty you've ever seen and I'm so lucky to have met her 8 years ago when we were just wee little corporate world babies. Our friendship feels like coming home - so natural and comfortable. I'm so grateful to say that we discovered our love for SF together through many urban hikes and the hunt to find the best pastry. You may want to keep an eye on her. She may be tiny, but the girl can down a margarita faster than we can say, "I do."
Groomsman
My favorite brother! Brian was my first friend, and my first enemy (he used to practice WWE moves on me whenever my parents weren’t looking). He was the first person to encourage me to move to San Francisco, and if it wasn’t for those words I may have never met my bride-to-be.
Bridesmaid
B and I have been best friends since the 3rd grade. We still love to reminisce and laugh about our schoolgirl crushes, failed class projects, and our awkward middle school years. We've stayed close over the years and always text each other when we're frustrated and anxious during all DC sports games, or laughing during Friends episodes. She's absolutely brilliant and the one you want in your corner, and I am so lucky to have her in mine. I mean cmon, could she BE any more amazing?
Junior Bridesmaid
My sweet, not-so-little-anymore Charley girl. I used to change her diapers and she’s grown up to be beautiful, smart, and most importantly, patient enough to teach me how to use TikTok. As I've watched her grow up, and become significantly less cool to her, it's been fun to see her become the wonderful young woman she is today and still stay a kid at heart. She still finds time to play boardgames and make cookies with me, and I hope that never changes. (Even if she cheats at cards!)
