Wedding Day Transportation

We will have a shuttle service that will pick up from Courtyard Petaluma at 3:30pm and leave promptly at 3:40pm, and then pick up from Sheraton Petaluma at 3:50pm and leave promptly at 4pm. There will not be a second shuttle so please make sure you make it on at the designated time for your hotel. The shuttle will drop back off at both hotels after our wedding. For all other guests, you may drive to the Courtyard Petaluma and park in their parking lot to catch the shuttle, take an Uber/Lyft/Taxi, or drive directly to the venue. Please reach out to us if you have any questions or would like our recommendation.

Sheraton Petaluma

The Sheraton is where we have a room block reserved for the wedding. It is located in Petaluma, just outside of Sonoma, and is about a 20-25 minute drive to our wedding venue. The Best Western Sonoma Inn is comparable in price and centrally located in Sonoma, but we have this block in Petaluma if you’d like to use it. Courtyard by Marriott Petaluma Sonoma County

The Courtyard Marriott Sonoma is where we have our other room block for the wedding. This hotel just opened in Petaluma in June and is the most affordable option listed. It is very close to the Sheraton Petaluma where we have our other room block, and is another great option if you're looking for a hotel just outside of Sonoma. It’s an easy drive or Uber/Lyft ride into Sonoma to visit wineries. This hotel is about a 20-25 minute drive to our wedding venue. Best Western Sonoma Valley Inn

This hotel is right in the heart of Sonoma and steps away from the Sonoma Plaza. It is also one of the more affordable hotels in Sonoma. While we don't have a hotel block at this hotel, it is a great option if you're looking to be near great restaurants, wineries, and hiking trails. The hotel is also a 12-15 minute drive to Viansa Winery where we'll be having our wedding.

Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa

If you're looking for a luxury, resort-style getaway, this hotel is one of our favorites in the area! The Fairmont properties are widely known for their beautiful and serene spaces. There is a pool and spa with mineral baths on site. They also host a complimentary happy hour every night on their lawn. The hotel is about an 18-20 minute drive to our wedding venue.

Airbnb

There are wonderful Airbnbs & VRBOs in the area. We will be going this route if you need any tips. We would recommend looking in the Sonoma, Napa, Kenwood, Glen Ellen, or Petaluma areas. All are about 20-25 minutes outside of Sonoma.

Flight

SFO or SMF

Flying in? Thanks for making the trip! You can fly into San Francisco International Airport or Sacramento International Airport - both are about 60-90 minutes away from Sonoma.

Rental Car

Cars & Rides

Renting a car to drive in from SFO or SMF is probably the most convenient for getting to Sonoma. Parking will be available at all of the events throughout the weekend. We have discount codes at both Avis (R674715) & Budget (B090242) for you to use. The discount is applicable for car reservations between 10/7 and 10/25. Ubers and Lyfts are always available for going to and from the airport, as well as for going around Sonoma.
