Spenser proposed in the gardens of the Carlyle House, which are open to the public. The historic home is also open for tours for $5 per adult! They operate 10 am - 4 pm Thursday-Saturday and 12 pm - 4 pm on Sunday.

The Pope-Leighey House, built in 1940, is one of Frank Lloyd Wright's Usonian-style homes. At the same property, you can also tour Woodlawn Mansion, built in 1805 as a gift for the Lewis family from George Washington.

Torpedo Factory Art Center was a naval munitions factory that was converted into an art center. Open to the public, you can stroll the center and see artists at work and purchase their art.
The Old Town Farmers Market in Market Square is open year round on Saturdays from 7 am - 12 pm.
Aslin Beer Company is a great local brewery with a constant rotation of beers on tap.
Port City Brewing Company is a very popular local brewery with classic staples like Optimal Wit and the Monumental IPA.
BARCA is a restaurant and wine bar that floats on the river! They have incredible food and great wines. This is a very popular destination in Old Town, so we highly recommend making a reservation.
A La Lucia is a local Italian restaurant with great food! While it is not in Old Town proper, it is easily walkable from King Street.
Village Brauhaus is one of our favorite places to grab a beer on King Street. This traditional German Bier Hall has all the staples: Pretzels, Wursts, and of course beer! You may or may not find us here after the reception!
Daniel O'Connell's Irish Restaurant & Bar is a local favorite for pub food and drinks. O'Connell's is located on King Street near the water. You may or may not find us here after the reception!
