Suggested Attire: WESTERN. This is where you get to wear your Aspen glam. Denim and diamonds; cowboy hats and boots; western wear bling. (All optional - you can ignore the theme if you don't want to be a fancy cowboy)

If you're going to be in Granby Ranch on Thursday, you are invited to join us for the Wild West Welcome Party! We've rented out the Viscous Cycle Brewery in Fraser (about 15 minutes from Granby Ranch). We'll have drinks, BBQ, and a cowboy hat bar where you can make yourself the perfect cowboy hat. You can wear your own cowboy hat if you already have one you love, but we'll have hats for everyone!

Attire is FORMAL: long dresses/gowns, fancy jumpsuits, suits and ties. We recommend stable shoes for the ceremony (gravel/grass site) and cocktail hour (grass lawn). The ceremony is outdoors so bring appropriate outdoor layers - it could snow, it could be 80 degrees.

Guests should arrive to the designated meeting point inside Granby Lodge by 2:45pm, as everyone will need to be checked in. Granby staff will confirm you've signed the chairlift waiver, and then everyone will take the chairlift up to the Vista Ridge mountain top ceremony site together. We'll have a shuttle to take up anyone who doesn't want to get on the chairlift. (Just let us know when you RSVP so we can reserve your spot on the shuttle). Check-in at Granby Lodge: 2:45pm Chairlift Load: 3:00pm Champagne at the mountain top 3:15pm Ceremony: 3:45pm Chairlift load down: 4:20pm Cocktail Hour: 4:30pm Dinner Reception and Dancing: 6:00pm The ceremony site overlooks the Continental Divide. You'll have time to enjoy the view and take awesome photos before and after the ceremony. The cocktail hour is back down the mountain on the lawn in front of Granby Lodge. The dinner reception will move inside the lodge.

Who's still around on Saturday? We're planning to rent all the pontoon boats at the Trail Ridge Marina on Grand Lake for a chill afternoon on the water. We'll cruise around the lake right below the Rocky Mountains entrance, so we can take in all the beauty without all the effort of a hike. Bring your own snacks and drinks. The pontoon boats go about 5 miles per hour, so this will be a slow and relaxing adventure. It will cost about $40 per person. We'll just ask attendees to pay the $40 at the marina.
