Guests can book their reservations with our group rate by using the unique booking link or calling Hilton Reservations at 1-800-HILTONS and using code 900. Please note that guests hoping to book rooms with the group rate must book by July 15, 2026. Rooms may fill sooner, so please plan to book your room ASAP.

Cherry Capital Airport

Guests have a few options for travelling to northern Michigan. If driving, Traverse City is located about 5 hours from Chicago, 2 hours from Grand Rapids, and 4 hours from Detroit. The drive up north is very scenic, and we consider getting there to be part of the fun! It's definitely what we recommend. Traverse City does also have its own airport (Cherry Capital Airport, code TVC), with a direct 1-hour flight from Chicago O'Hare. Guests travelling from across the country or those who don't enjoy driving long distances may want to consider air travel rather than a road trip. If you're not sure which travel option would be best for you, Kara's maid of honor, Carly Swanson, has graciously offered to help guests plan their logstics as needed. Getting downtown

Guests who fly into Cherry Capital Airport can take the Line 14 BATA bus to get to downtown Traverse City or call an Uber/Lyft. You can also pre-book a taxi with companies like Up North Taxi or Knight Cab. We highly recommend renting a car—you won't want to miss out on the northern Michigan scenery, and driving around is part of the magic! NOTE: Uber and Lyft are fairly easy to access from the airport/downtown area of Traverse City, but if you plan to explore the larger region and/or visit one of the vineyards for some wine tasting, please note that rideshares aren't always available, and cell service can be spotty.
