We're so excited to share our favorite places in the area with you! Here are a few of our favorite places, activities, and restaurants in Traverse City and the surrounding areas.

The Traverse City area is famous for its many scenic vineyards, and we highly recommend stopping by at least one of them. Our favorites are Bonobo Winery, Chateau Chantal, MAWBY Sparkling Wines, and Leelanau Cellars.

Wineries

There are dozens of beaches in the area, and you really can't go wrong! If you're looking for a scenic spot on Lake Michigan, our favorite is Good Harbor Bay Beach. If you're looking for a quieter beach, we suggest checking out Maple Bay.

Beaches

There are plenty of cool shops in the main downtown area of Traverse City. Two of our favorite spots are Horizon Books and RPM Records.

Shopping

If you're up for a bit of a drive, we can't recommend this enough! Located about 45 minutes from Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes is one of our favorite spots in the entire state.

Amazing food and drinks! This is our go-to spot.

Our favorite quick breakfast stop, and the best bagels outside of NYC that we've ever had.
