Maid of Honor
How did you and the bride meet /become friends? Ive known Kaitlyn for pretty much my whole life, we've been close friends for 15+ years and I'd be lost without her! Our parents were friends out at camp and introduced us as infants at swimming lessons. Then our friendship blossomed from there. We really clicked and became inseparable after I heard Kaitlyn's grandpa made lemon meringue pie and was so excited I sprinted barefoot to her camp. After that our friendship was filled with inside jokes and endless laughs. What is your favourite memory with the bride? Oh gosh there are far too many to pick one! I think all my favourites are the summers we spent everyday together as camp counsellors with our endless karaoke sauna session and inside jokes, showing up to the craft cabin with wicked hangovers.

I think what I like most about having a twin brother is being able to grow up and go through life with my best friend.

How did you and the groom meet/become friends? I've known Jake most of my life! 18 years of friendship so far. We met for the first time playing hockey together on the same line when we were 8 and then became closer when we were on the same team again when we were 11. Our friendship truly developed in our early teens biking together every day going on countless summer adventures. What is your favourite memory with the groom? I loved getting to join along with him and his family when they would go to Brown’s Clearwater for a week in the summer. The beach, sun, sauna and drinking with one of my best friends are some of my favourite memories. It lead to many inside jokes and memories, my favourite to this day being “clear the aisles”.

How did you and the bride meet/become friends? We've known each other for 15 years! We technically met in grade 7 as awkward little 12-year-olds but really hit it off in grade 8 in our homeroom 8-4. I couldn’t tell you exactly how we became friends, we just clicked! Probably because we have the exact same sense of humour and can basically read each others minds. We’ve been very close since then, surviving high school and university, pandemics, moves and the chaos of ever changing friend groups. Now here we are, all grown up, and I’m so grateful we’ve hit so many milestones together- I can’t wait to see what’s next! What is your favourite memory with the bride? I have too many memories to pick just one favourite. I love the big memories like the countless concerts we’ve gone to together. Nothing beats singing, dancing and being unhinged in a big crowd with your best friends. And honestly, I cherish the simple small moments just as much. Especially when we get caught up in a some dumb joke or bit, adding to it over and over again until in snowballs in chaos until we’re both crying laughing. Those are the moments that make our friendship so special.

How did you and the groom meet/become friends? I have known Jacob since I was a boy and we were best friends during our teens and will be best mates for life. Our friendship developed when we were put on the same hockey team, specifically playing on the same line. We became best friends while playing together on the Neebing Hawks. What is your favourite memory with the groom? Some of my favourite memories with Jacob include our early teens when we first got our license and Jacob would Drive us around in the man van (wind star). I also like Jacob’s new man van (the pilot) and we've already made great memories together driving back from Minni after Vegas.

How did you and the bride meet/become friends? I've known Kaitlyn for 15 years. We met through our mutual love of swimming when I joined our swim team Northwest Narwhals (NWN) when I was 11 years old. We became friends VERY quickly as we have very similar personalities! What is your favourite memory with the bride? One of my favourite memories is back in Waterloo singing karaoke with Kaitlyn, Jacob and our roommates at our house. I also loved hanging out with Kaitlyn on Friday nights in Waterloo watching RuPaul’s Drag Race and eating nachos high af. Lastly, I have to mention all the swim meets and pre-swim practice bonding with our team, especially 2012 ManSask. There was always so many laughs and pep talks, cheering and spirit.

How did you and the groom meet/become friends? Jacob is my older brother so I have known him my whole life! I have also known Kaitlyn for half my life as they started dating when I was 10 years old. My brother and I have really grown closer as I have gotten older. What is your favourite memory with the groom? My favourite memory actually involves both Jacob and Kaitlyn. It was our family vacation to Cuba with both of them in 2019. We did a lot of fun activities that trip from beach volleyball, to dancing at night and the catamaran swimming with dolphins.

How did you and the bride/groom meet/become friends? Kaitlyn Is my older sister so I have known her my whole life! I met Jacob at a party in grade 9 the same day he met Kaitlyn (he was my friend FIRST). Jacob and my friendship has continue to develop over the years. And although Kaitlyn is my sister by blood, she became a friend over the years by choice! What is your favourite memory with the bride/groom? My favourite memories with Jacob all include the times we've been at camp together drinking, dancing and laughing around the camp fire. I also have to include my favourite memory with my sister which really includes my entire childhood. She was the best big sister, I loved following her and her friends around at camp every summer.

How did you and the bride meet/become friends? I've known Kaitlyn for 15 years! We met through school at EQ in grade 7 but it was in grade 9 when we got a lot closer! We solidified our bestie status sitting beside each other in biology. We were obviously the star pupils despite our constant talking and fooling around. What is your favourite memory with the bride? A wholesome favourite memory I have with Kaitlyn was our high school tradition of walking over to get Chinese at C&Y Chopsticks after exams every semester! My less wholesome favourite memory is the night when just the two of us went to the abc party at the outpost (ditched Cosimo’s bday for it which was the right choice). We were in such silly moods and just matching each others energies perfect and just had the best night! What makes the memory even better is that was the night that I *pretend* proposed to Kaitlyn (beat you too it Jacob) and we’ve been extra committed ever since. It’s hard to explain why that was such a fun night but you just had to be there.

How did you and the groom meet/become friends? I've known Jacob for 9 years now! We met working at Canadian Tire together when we were younger and developed a friendship from there. Over the years our friendship has continued to grow and we have gotten a lot closer in recent years. What is your favourite memory with the groom? My favourite memory includes both Jacob and Kaitlyn. I loved celebrating the announcement of their engagement at Haileigh’s camp. It came as such a surprise as they didn't tell us that they were engaged until later on in the day when Kaitlyn slipped on the ring and we popped the champagne!

How did you and the bride meet/become friends? Kaitlyn and I have known each other for 13 years, we met in high school. We became friends playing basketball in high school and bonded over leading the defence cheer from the bench. D WHAT? DEFENCE. Our relationship blossomed in university, trauma bonding over chemistry labs, where we became best friends and luckily we’ve never looked back. What is your favourite memory with the bride? I could write a novel of all of my favourite and notable memories Kaitlyn and I have. Every time we see each other it’s bound to be a great time with lots of laughs. Although, if I had to choose one memory I would say it was the laboratory classes during university, it was impossible to not have fun with your best friend while dressed up in lab coats dissecting starfish, while the TA thinks you're in an abusive lesbian relationship!

How did you and the bride meet/become friends? We've known each other for over a decade now, which is in itself crazy!! Wow it’s actually hard to pin point the exact moment we became friends. I think we met through a mutual friend Madisyn (who is also a bridesmaid). For me, I feel like we started to really click in biology in grade 11 and then further became friends during grade 12 bio and religion classes. What is your favourite memory with the bride? Oh my gosh it would HAVE to be Arizona. That entire trip was actually so iconic and crazy of us HAHAHAH….. Kaitlyn singing while Jerry played the guitar. And the most iconic part of the trip; when Maddy broke the 60 of vodka and Kaitlyn was so upset (and drunk already) she made a song about it that included piano backing. You can’t really beat that!

How did you and the groom meet/become friends? I've only been close to Jake for about 2 years. We met through his brother Dylan after I worked with him at play it again sports. Our friendship really grew through bonding over our love of golden lights. What is your favourite memory with the groom? One of my favourite recent memories took place while the wine juices were flowing in Vegas. Jake began to ID fellow gamblers just to make sure they were 21. Any back talk from the gamblers was shut down by calling them Sally Ann and telling them to settle down and then storming away.
Flower Girl
Sloane is three years old and she is Kaitlyn's youngest (and cutest) cousin! She is very excited to be throwing the flowers during the ceremony! A little bit about Sloane: Her favourite activity is painting. Her favourite colour is purple. Her favourite animal is a doggie (especially Millie). Her favourite song is "How far I'll go" from the Moana soundtrack.
Ring Bearer
Millie is our 2 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She is very excited to be bringing down the rings during our ceremony! Although she is more of a ring barker than bearer she is going to be on her best behaviour (and if not oh well we forgive her since she is sooo cute). A little bit about Millie: her favourite activities are playing with all of her doggie friends, going for walks and playing with her soccer ball. She loves going over to both sets of her grandparents house. She also loves playing with kids (especially Sloane). Her favourite treat is her bully sticks and her favourite people food is popcorn, yogurt, cheese and peanut butter.
