Cue the mead, kilts and corsets!

We started dating Senior year at Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, WI.

While attending UW Manitowoc for college, we got engaged our Sophomore year,

We graduated together with our Associates Degrees as heads of Student Senate, and with Honors, from UW Manitowoc.

Since Taylor was attending UW Stevens Point (UWSP) to get her Bachelors Degree, and Chris was attending MidState Technical College for his Automotive Mechanics Degree, we moved to Wisconsin Rapids.

Chris graduated first in May 2019 with his Automotive Mechanics degree from MSTC.

We moved into a house more fitting for our needs, with a big yard surrounded by trees, more privacy and personal space, and the ability to get a dog!

We adopted our beautiful boy, Thorvald (Thor, for short) soon after we moved into our new house. He was an 18 month old German Shepherd-Husky mix when we got him; he’s given us a run for our money since then, but he’s our boy and we love him dearly.

Taylor graduated (amidst the pandemic) with honors from Sigma Tau Delta (the National English Honors Society) with her B.A. in English from UWSP.

When we got engaged back in 2017, Taylor said that they couldn’t start planning their wedding until after she had graduated with her B.A., because it would be too many big tasks to focus on at once. So once she finally got that piece of paper, the planning began!

After a five year engagement, we’re finally tying the knot, and we’re so excited to share this momentous occasion with all of you!
