Every Friday night, starting around 6 p.m., there is a drum circle held in Pritchard Park, which is directly in front of where the welcome party/Kabbalat Shabbat are at 7:30! This is a classic Asheville tradition going back to 2001, and is a lot of fun for everyone.

An easy, family friendly one-mile out and back hike that leads up to beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Fun fact: our wedding colors were inspired by this view!
A beautiful, moderate, 2-mile out-and-back hike to some majestic falls in Pisgah National Forest. Fun fact: we did this hike back in 2021 on our first ever trip together.
A harder, longer hike for those inclined. There is a 3+ mile out-and-back or a 6 mile loop trail connected to Black Balsam Knob.
Although there is an entry fee, the Arboretum boasts gorgeous flora, fauna and easy hiking for the whole family.
