Optional Welcome Hike

2:30 pm

If you want to get out into the mountains, we invite you to join us for our welcome hike! Depending on weather and accessibility we will meet at one of these two trailheads at 2:30pm SHARP. Transportation to trailhead is on your own. Catawba Falls River Trail: This is one of our favorite hikes. You can plan to stop in quaint Black Mountain NC before or after for food and shopping. The trail winds along a river as it ascends to spectacular waterfalls. This 2.1 mile hike is easy, but there are many stairs. Please join us for a short, musical, Friday night Shabbat service lead by Andy Dennen and Soul Zimrah! It is Jewish tradition to welcome the Sabbath and we cannot wait to share this beautiful beginning to the wedding weekend with you. All are welcome.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30. Get ready to drink, dance, sing, cry, and laugh! Wear shoes for dancing in the grass -- or feel free to dance barefoot!
