Katherine Asmus

Matron of Honor

Alice and Kat have been friends since the 5th grade. Fun fact: Alice still has a note Kat wrote her in 8th grade trying to convince her to stay in band, so they could be around each other in high school. Spoiler Alert: They were always together in high school and are still best friends 23 years later!

Drew Sutherland

Best Man

When asking Julian to drescribe Drew, he probably mentioned the word "best" 15 times and ended it with "MY HERO." Some highlights were Best Brother, Best Friend, and Best Man. Alice would like to note that Drew, has always been there for them, is Mr. Fix-It, and prefers to be paid in cookies.

Neyda Maymi

Bridesmaid

Neyda's superpower, in Alice's humble opinion, is busting through a crowd of people ready to take down anyone to get to her friends when they need help. She's been a best friend to Alice since middle school and their friendship been aging like fine wine ever since. (Yeah Neyda, I know you laughed at that.)

Clay Pritchard

Groomsman

Brother from another Mother. He's Julian's first call for (insert reason here). When he's not busy playing saxophone for the PRESIDENT, he's probably fishing or golfing. His trunk is full of the best things in life; Golf clubs and a Saxophone.

Hilary Ricky

Bridesmaid

You know that friend who sticks with you at the front of sold out rock concerts with mosh pits everywhere and random crowd surfers flying over you? That's Hilary! The same best friend who you run to for support and honest answers. Been friends since high school and having adventures ever since! Hilary is the "Let's go!" type and Alice is the "Are we allowed to be back here?" type. Fun fact: They met Jared Leto after one of their concert adventures.

Mike Luzecky

Groomsman

If you're walking around downtown Denton, there's an 85% chance you'll meet Mike. There's a 100% chance of spotting Mike next to Julian at the wedding. Mike was there from the beginning, down to third wheel the coffee dates and the bar hangs. Hands down the coolest guy you'll ever meet and both Julian and Alice love and appreciate this dude!

Crystal Romero

Bridesmaid

I think the most used phrase in their text history is, "I'll go, if you go." Friends for over 8 years, Alice and Crystal bonded over soccer and friends. Years ago, Alice took Crystal to an FC Dallas game. A couple years later, Crystal charmed her way onto the FC Dallas Girls team. The following year, she made sure Alice was by her side working the soccer matches. She's one of those best friends that stands up to injustices and makes sure her friends are okay. Like if someone thinks soccer is a dumb sport, she'll argue you under the table!

Mark De Hertogh

Groomsman

Climbing the ranks of brotherly friendship, Mark went from Julian's first UNT saxophone teacher, to good friend, to colleague, and now groomsmen. Friend for 11 years, if you need a good guy by your side, Mark will be there, probably with a t-shirt that says "I'd rather be rockclimbing...".

Matthew Ransdell, Jr.

Officiant

Our officiant for our special day, is none other, than the person who spoke up for Alice first, her younger brother, Matt. Let's drop some life examples of how Matt has worked his way up to the Officiating position at his amazing sister's wedding. Alice was around 8 years old, she was too shy to ask for ketchup at McDonalds, so 6 year old Matthew would blast through everyone in line to get some for her. Had to sell cookie dough for school? He would grab her sales packet and go knock on the neighbor's door. (She's secretly hoping that he can do the same for Broadway tickets *hint hint*). We love you, Matthew!

For all the days along the way
