FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Garden attire! No tie required. Basically smart casual. Think Khakis and polo, but also be comfortable! (just if Jessica isn't allowed to wear sweatpants, neither are you)

Question

Which ferry should I take?

Answer

The last ferry to take to make sure you get to the start of the ceremony is the 320 ferry. If you cannot drive onto this ferry, we suggest walking on, as the next ferry will not arrive on time. The ferry schedule can be found here: https://www.co.pierce.wa.us/2200/Ferry-Schedule

Question

Should I drive on to the ferry?

Answer

Please look at our travel tab for parking options. If you drive onto the ferry, be ready for a 1.5 hour wait, as it is mother's day weekend.

Question

If I walk on to the ferry, how will I get to the community club?

Answer

We have a shuttle driver! Well really just a van. It will be going between the island ferry parking lot to the CC starting at noon until the start of the wedding. There will be a sign.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Lots of it.

Question

What if I miss the last ferry back to the mainland?

Answer

The last ferry off of Anderson Island is at 1030 pm. If you miss this ferry, you are stuck on AI until the next morning! If this happens, please get in touch with someone in the bridal party or one of our family members. We will be able to find a place for you to crash for the night if necessary.

Question

Is there anything else happening on the island for us to attend this weekend?

Answer

On Sunday, there will be food available for you to cook and eat with other people in the morning at the community club. If you are sticking around the island, you are welcome to come by and enjoy everyone's company!

Question

What if I need a ride on the island?

Answer

For those of you who are sharing transport, but want to get around the island on your own, Jordan's mom has arranged for her friend Jeff to help you out.  On Friday and Saturday, Jeff will be available to pick you up and drop you off pretty much anywhere on the island.  You can call or text him at 253 954 7291 to make arrangements.  Please contribute $10 in cash per one-way ride (tips are welcome) to help Jeff cover his costs. Jordan's mom says "Jeff is a very loving person- I hope you'll enjoy the time with him!"

For all the days along the way
