Maid of Honor
Tamara and Ali met when they were in the same PhD cohort at Western. Ali credits their friendship - including 4+ hour dinners at Curry’s and beach trips to Lake Huron - as a major part of her getting through grad school.
Best Man
Justin and Joshua met in middle school. Growing up, they rode bikes around town and beat video games together. Nowadays they visit breweries and beerfests looking for the best craft beers.
Bridesmaid
Bronwyn and Ali both plotted to become friends before they met - they knew of each other from having the same roommate at different times. Thankfully their plotting worked, and B became Ali's go-to person for swimming outdoors, binging TV shows, and lengthy discussions about life.
Best Man
Colin and Joshua met in middle school and became close friends working together in the high school IT department the summer after freshman year. They continue to hang out in Philadelphia where they've lived since college, including three years together in the most bachelor of bachelor pads.
Bridesmaid
Christina and Ali met when they sat two desks apart in the Honours/Master’s thesis office at Acadia. They became fast friends through trips to the Wolfville Farmers’ Market, playing board games at the Axe, and long writing sessions at TAN Coffee.
Groomsman
Jeremiah and Joshua met at a board game store, and they haven't stopped playing board games together since. Joshua was honored to be Jeremiah's groomsmen at his wedding.
Bridesmaid
Gab and Ali met when they both sat on the Provincial Board of the Canadian Federation of Students-Ontario. They quickly bonded over a shared love for the Maritimes, municipal politics, and Michael Schur TV shows.
Groomsman
Dan and Joshua always find time for board games at Shott family gatherings. According to the stats Dan keeps, Joshua has a 46.94% winning percentage all-time.
