Denver International Airport (DIA)

Fly into Denver International Airport. It is a major United hub, so you may find more flights on that airline. You can rent a car at DIA or you can take a rail from the airport to downtown Denver's Union Station, which is right next to one of our hotels.

$139 per night + $38 a night for parking if you have a car Recommended hotel for the weekend, in the heart of Denver and no need to rent a car. Just 3 blocks from Union Station, so you can take the rail from the airport to downtown and walk to the hotel. From Union Station you can take a bus to Britt and Josh's house for wedding activities. And, we will have free transit to and from this hotel for our wedding guests on the day of the ceremony, Sunday, May 23, 2021. Free wi-fi for Hilton Honors members or $6.95 a night if you are not. However, it is free to join Hilton Honors, so we recommend signing up to get free wi-fi and cancel after that if it doesn't suit you.

Drury Inn & Suites Denver Westminster

$119 per night. Plus complimentary hot breakfast, wi-fi, 5pm snacks, late night snacks, fitness areas, etc. This hotel is only 0.7 miles from the venue, so you can walk there and back, no transit needed for the wedding. It is also close to a shopping area, loads of food options, Butterfly Pavilion, and more. You'll need to find your own shuttle from the airport, or rent a car. We have 10 rooms per night on hold. Airbnb

Plenty of fun places to stay in Denver on Airbnb if you are looking for a place for friends and family to gather in one space, or are not into the hotel vibe. We live in Wheat Ridge - just a few miles west of downtown Denver. A very hip spot is Highlands, which is in between us and downtown Denver. LoDo in Denver would also be fabulous for walking around and getting to truly experience Denver. Or, find a spot near Boulder for a fun week getting out and about. Another great place to look is Golden, CO.

Train

A Line Commuter Train

The Commuter train goes between Union Station in Denver and the Denver International Airport. It is about $11 one way. Both Josh and Brittany have used this and it is super easy and great to save some money getting to and from the airport. Highly recommended if you don't want to rent a car. Take the train to Union Station and then walk to the Hilton Inn or you can Uber or Lift to your hotel/airbnb from there.

If you have a Costco Membership, we recommend using it to find the best rates on your rental car for the weekend. There are a ton of options with shuttles right by the airport, and Costco covers them all.

Travel Note

Bus Line to Britt & Josh's House

We live on a super convenient bus line. Route 32 goes from Union Station in downtown Denver and drops off a block from our house. The trip takes about 30 minutes. If you are taking the bus from our house to Denver's Union Station, the stop is right in front of our house. So, if you don't want to Uber/Lift and don't want to rent a car, you do not have to!
