Allison and Jordan met in 2015 during their freshman year of college and have stayed close ever since. They lived together for 2 years, graduated together, and started their adult lives together. These two have been through everything together and somehow still bond over books, Harry Potter, the JoBros, discount margaritas and memes. Allison is my sounding board. I can text her about the same silly thing, 1, 2, or 100 times and she’ll always give the best advice. I can tell her anything without fear of judgement. She quickly became my closest friend in North Carolina and made the decision to stay in the south easier. No amount of rom-com movie nights full of margaritas and tears will ever be enough with her.

Maddy and Jordan met in 2002 and bonded while in time-out at daycare. From that day on they have pretty much been inseparable. Whether it was dance classes, kick-line, trick or treating, Sweet 16s, and a multitude of trips these girls have been thru everything together. My soul sister, Mads keeps me grounded, laughing, and reminds me to not be so serious. Her artistic ability is unmatched and I wouldn’t be here today without her. Moving away from her when I went to college was one of the hardest things for me and I'm so happy that we've stayed just as close. My closest friend and confidant for the last 20+ years, she will never understand how much her friendship means to me!

Casey and Jordan became friends in 2011 when they were in Girl Scouts and played on the same softball team! (a sport neither of them stuck with) The two have spent many hours crafting, going to the beach, and hanging out by the pool or in Jordan's childhood basement. Casey is sweet soul who inspires me to have faith. Even though we don’t get to see each other as much as we’d like (living over 1000miles away from each other will do that) she never makes me feel like any time has passed. Fun Fact: Even though they went to different colleges, they both ended up in the same sorority and are technically sisters. Just like a sister, Casey has known me and loved me thru all the awkwardness of growing up. She’s one of the hardest working people I know and she’s never not smiling!

When Jord messaged her primary care provider in October 2022 about paperwork for PA school she was so happy to learn that her doctor’s medical assistant was also in her program! Jordan and Hannah immediately started talking and realized they lived less then a mile from, each other in Raleigh. After one Hurricanes game, Jord knew Hannah was going to be one of her best friends for life. Driving to school together they have both seen the best and worst of each other. Hans is my ride or die, literally and I'm a better person because she's apart of my life. Hannah is so fun, smart, and pushes Jord to do her best. She’s the best listener and is always down for a good time!

Peyton and Jordan met in 2016 in their Neurobiology class at NC State. Peyton was so quiet when they first met and Jordan is so happy that they’ve been able to open up to each other and maintain a friendship over the years. From studying for hours in the library together, somehow surviving physics together, to achieving their goals in healthcare together, these two have been thru a lot! I have always looked to Peyton as a role model. She graduated before me and worked hard to get into multiple grad school programs all while working full time. I can tell her anything and trust that she’ll give me practical advice. She’s my superwomen and shows me that anything is possible, pushes me to do my best, and is always down to scream-sing Taylor Swift.

Jordan and Taylor met in 2016 when Kenric brought her home to meet his family. Taylor was a junior in high school and it has been so fun watching her grow up! She’s the funniest person I’ve ever met and she shows me that sometimes you have to laugh at what life throws you. Her grace and patience are unmatched. My virgo twin, Tay and I both share a love for true crime podcasts, memes, anything strawberry flavored and ranch. I’m so lucky and excited to finally call her my sister!

Brooke and Jordan met in 2016 when Kenric brought her home to meet his family. Brooke was so talkative and immediately made Jord feel welcome. After connecting over the same middle name and picky eating habits, these girls have continued to grow closer. Since meeting, Brooke has grown into a confident, sassy gal and I'm so glad I got to witness that! She’s the best travel buddy and knows exactly how to keep Jordan young. She’s always made me feel like part of the family and I’m so lucky to finally call her a sister!

Summer and Jordan met the first week of PA school and have gotten each other thru some of the hardest challenges in the last few years. They were partners for their physical exam class, have spent countless hours studying together in coffee shops, and have spent just as much time joking around and checking out restaurants all across the middle of North Carolina. Summer is my sunshine, she is always in a happy mood, smiling or cracking a joke. I wouldn’t have made it thru school without her and know that I have a friend and colleague for life.

Jordan grew up surrounded by boys until she was 13 and her cousin Avery came along! Yes tears were involved both because her reign as the only girl and grandchild on her dad's side was over and because she was so happy to have a mini me (even though Avery is taller.) Jordan was so excited to have someone to share a love of Disney, space, and Taylor Swift with. Even though they live far away from each other, Jord is always cheering Avery on and is her biggest fan. Avery is so smart, funny, and she is definitely going to rule the world one day. Avery keeps me young at heart, and I'm glad that I am able to be a positive role model for her, just as much as she inspires me. I’m so excited she was able to be apart of my big day! This is the way my sassy girl.
