5:30 pm
Casual attire
Please join us for a welcome margarita or 2 and some tacos. If margs aren't your thing, bring along your favorite drink for your sippin'. This will be the first official wedding weekend event so please plan your arrival accordingly.
8:30 pm
Anything goes
B-I-N-G-O. Duck for the oysters. Mean anything to you? Cooper's aunt, Caroline, will be leading the group through a Quimby staple: square dancing in the Clubhouse. Never square danced before? Don't worry; that's probably 99% of you.
8:30 am - 9:30 am
Yoga attire
Bring your yoga mat! Saturday's yoga will be led by Cooper's aunt, Caroline.
8:30 am - 10:30 am
Anything goes, attire-wise
We must start the day off right with BYO (building your own) breakfast sandwiches. Avocado available only to those who throw a ball to Winston.
12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
If you're hungry, come grab a sandy at the Lodge. Whether you're on your way to the Rock to take a "shower" in Big Averill, heading to cast a few lines into Forest Lake, or reading in the rocking chairs on the porch, sandwiches will be up for grabs.
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Semi-formal
Please arrive at the Rock at 4:00pm, snap a few photos, and get in your seats by 4:25pm! There will be no sides--just please leave the first few rows for the bride's and groom's families. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm and you don't want to be THAT guy/girl--promise me! Also, the walk from Quimby's lodge to the Rock is not just around the corner and on a dirt road. Ladies, especially: please make a special note of this in terms of dress length and footwear choice (if heels, block heels may make the most sense).
6:00 pm - 11:30 pm
Semi-formal attire
Enjoy some light hors d'ouevres, and save some room for dinner in the Tent. Be sure to put on your dancing shoes before you hear the band strike up!
9:30 am - 11:30 am
Anything goes, attire-wise
Come to the dining room in the Lodge for an easy, sit down brunch. Let's pack on the calories we all burned off last night tearing up the dance floor.
5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Wear something you're willing to get wet!
Head on out to the "Rock" for a sunset paddle. There will be kayaks, canoes, and SUP's available on a first-come, first-served basis. You might even like to stay for dinner, so plan accordingly. You can towel off and change in the boat house, or go back to your cabin to freshen up, but then you may miss out on your lobster......
7:00 pm
Please sport your favorite flannel or plaid.
The Lobster Cookout at the Rock is a Quimby Country tradition. Not only will there be Mill Cove’s fresh lobster, pulled from the waters of Boothbay Harbor, ME (we think), but the usual accompaniments including creamy clam chowder, corn on the cob from local farms, roasted red potato salad, coleslaw, tossed salad, and fresh bread will *likely* be served. Vegetarian or vegan options will also be available. Please be sure to let us know if you'll be wanting lobster so we can be sure there's one on your plate.
