FAQs

Question

What about Covid?

Answer

As you’re probably already aware, we are seeing a resurgence of our friend ‘Rona, thanks to the Delta variant. At this time, we are planning to continue forward with the wedding as planned. We will let you know as soon as possible if this changes. We are certainly hoping this will not be the case but will keep you posted if it is! **On that note** we want to continue to protect everyone attending as much as possible. Please, please, PLEASE get vaccinated if you aren’t already! We strongly recommend you do so regardless of our wedding 😊 We also *strongly* recommend, but will not necessarily enforce, mask-wearing during the reception.

Question

How do I get there?

Answer

The best way would be to fly into the Reno-Tahoe International airport and rent a car. Take 395 South to the Mammoth Lakes exit if you are staying there, or turn left on Convict Lake Road to reach the resort. The easiest way would be to fly United to Mammoth-Yosemite Airport, but these flights are less frequent and more expensive, so keep that in mind. For those driving from NorCal or the Bay Area, Tioga Pass is open this time of year. On the day of, there will be a shuttle service for those of y’all staying in Mammoth Lakes- please don’t drink and drive!

Question

What is there to do?

Answer

The Mammoth Lakes area is absolutely beautiful and September is a great time to be outdoors! Enjoy the hiking and fishing in the area, or take a drive to Yosemite and enjoy the spectacular views in the National Park.

Question

Why won’t I be at the ceremony?

Answer

Let’s be honest; the main reason people sit through the ceremony is to get to the party afterwards 😉 This way, you can skip the middleman and just celebrate with us! We are choosing to do a very small elopement-type ceremony for personal reasons. Please know that we DO want you to be part of our day- that’s why we’d love to party with you at the reception!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Absolutely! We’d love to have your littles, if you want them to come along!
