Groom
John lived most of his childhood in the Walla Walla area. Growing up he enjoyed spending his summers at his grandparents ranch. He attended University of Idaho where he studied mechanical engineering. John has lived in the Seattle area for the past nine years where he has been an active supporter of the Seattle Sounders. Besides soccer John enjoys good reads, hiking, craft beer and cycling.
Bride
Madeline, Maddie to her friends, spent her childhood in the Spokane area. She spent her summers on lake Coeur d' Alene and winters at 49 degrees north ski resort. She attended Washington State University studying communications. Maddie has lived in the Seattle area for the past eight years in that time she earned her Masters in Business from Seattle University, traveled to places she never imagined (mostly for work), and continued to explore the beauty that is the PNW.
Bridesmaid
Jolene and Maddie met at 2018 Bunnycon. For those not familiar with Bunnycon it is a bar crawl where everyone dresses like a bunny. Jolene and Maddie spend their time together practicing yoga, enjoying fancy cocktails, playing with their fur babies, and discussing good books.
Bridesmaid
Katie and Maddie met in 2017 thru the NYU Alumni Association. Katie went to NYU for graduate school and Maddie has been a friend of NYU for several years due to a mutual friend. Katie and Maddie both love animals, in fact they both had cats that lived to 19 years old. Katie and Maddie enjoy spending time brunching, cooking, and dreaming their next travel destinations.
Groomsman
Zach and John have known each other since high school. They both attended the University of Idaho. Zach went on from college to spend 2 years in Guatemala with the Peace Corp. He returned to Walla Walla after his service with the Peace Corp and he and John found their friendship renewed. Zach moved to Seattle and convinced John to do the same. In Seattle, the two have enjoyed much of what the Puget Sound has to offer including: riding the STP (Seattle to Portland bike ride) twice, becoming season ticket members to the Seattle Sounders, and enjoying the many craft beers of the area.
Groomsman
John and Nick met each other in 2013 at the Atlantic Crossing, a local bar in the Roosevelt area of Seattle, watching the US Men's Soccer team playing Jamaica. There they discovered their mutual admiration for soccer. Since that encounter the two have enjoyed multiple adventures. Of which includes watching the US Women's soccer team when a third star in Vancouver BC, going to Mexico City to experience Estadio Azteca watching the Seattle Sounders play Club America, and to Toronto to witness the Sounders win the MLS Cup.
