The venue is 100% outdoors, no worries there will be a tent in case of rain. There are some grassy parts, but a majority of the venue consists of dirt paths. Please plan your shoes accordingly. Also, please make sure to bring a jacket or a wrap for the cooler evening.
Google directions works to get to the venue. Please note, you may loose cell phone service getting to the Wellspring Spa, we apologize in advance. The Wellspring Spa is about 2 hrs south of Seattle, 5 hrs west of Spokane, and 4 hrs west of Walla Walla.
We understand that it’s hard to leave the little ones for a whole weekend. We also understand that it’s difficult for small ones to stay entertained at a day long event. If possible please leave your children home with grandma. Short answer yes, well behaved kids are welcome at the wedding.
We recommend that you arrive an hour before the ceremony to ensure time to park and walk to the ceremony site as it is a little deeper into the venue and we plan to start on time.
We will not be providing transportation from lodging. There is onsite parking, but it is extremely limited. Please plan ahead and carpool with others staying at your same location. Uber/Lyft is available in the area.
Garden Attire is appropriate for our enchanted forest wedding. Wear sundresses, floral prints, slacks/suits in lighter hues, and fun hats.
The Wellspring Spa is a non-smoking facility, including the cabins. Smoking is only allowed in the parking lot.
John and Madeline have been living on their own for awhile now. As such they do not need many household items. They would however appreciate your contribution to their honeymoon fund which is listed under the registry page.
Anyone in the area Friday is welcome to attend our rehearsal dinner. Please make sure to RSVP on website.
We will be serving salad and wood fire pizza for dinner. Gluten free and vegan options will be available, make sure to list dietary restrictions when you RSVP. There will also be a snack bar later in the evening.
Beer and wine will be provided after the ceremony. We ask that no outside beverages are consumed onsite, please save these items for personal cabins or after event.
BBQ dinner will be served at 7pm on Friday. The wedding party will be rehearsing at 5pm. Anyone willing to help with setup is welcome onsite after 1pm.
Unfortunately animals are not allowed at the Wellspring spa, including in cabins. Please make accommodations for your animal to stay at home or at your Offsite lodging.
We will be livestreaming our wedding reception and recording/posting our wedding ceremony for those who are not able to make it to Washington. We hope that all that can attend will.
Our names will remain John Neal and Madeline Petrin for the foreseeable future.
Please reach us by email with any further questions. Maddiepetrin@gmail.com please refrain from calling us on the day of our wedding day as there is limited cell phone service.
John and I made the hard decision not to postpone our 2020 wedding because of multiple factors. None of us know how this virus will change the world or if 2021 will be any different than this year, or god forbid worse. John and I are ready to start our life together. This is a big commitment for both of us and we do not take it lightly. “When you finally find the one you want to spend the rest of your life with, you want the rest of your life to start today!” how Harry Met Sally. The wedding is about the two of us, our commitment to one another and to the journey we are beginning. If you as a guest do not wish to come please do not.
