Back when it was still Lamplighter, this is where Jet and Lennon had their first date. To get the full effect, sit in the window seats. And wave to 6 N Brunswick, across the street, it's Jet and Lennon's first apartment.
Carytown
If you need the full Richmond experience, you can't leave without getting a cup of coffee at Sugar + Twine and traipsing through Cary Town! Jet's favorite store is Shelf Life Books. Pet Page and Mylar for her! Lennon recommends One Eyed Jacks, a nerd's Mecca. "A pack of Magic The Gathering cards makes for a great wedding present," he hints.
Belle Isle
If you're looking to take in Richmond's waterfront, take a walk down the canal! If you're looking for a longer hike, meander to Brown's Island. Jet and Lennon survived quarantine with their daily walks here!
Perly's
For our New Yorkers, this is the closest to the NY diner experience you'll get in Richmond. They've got great pickles and even better smoked salmon latkes. It's also where Jet and Lennon said I love you for the first time over a slice of babka French toast. :,)
