Variable. Utah weather is tricky, and forecasts are only good about 2-3 days before. There is currently a hurricane hitting Mexico that is swinging up toward California and Arizona that is going to cause a lot of rain the next week. We are expecting the weather to be relatively good for the wedding, but it could be anywhere from 50's-60's day of. We're hoping for 60's, but please dress accordingly and bring some cold weather clothing with you. As we will be up in the mountains for the weather the temp will drop a few degrees from what it is in the valley. Temp drops by about 5-10 degrees per 1000 feet of elevation gain. Again the weather will most likely be just fine, and dropping to a bit cold at night, but a decent jacket should take care of that. The reception will have heat lamps out while we eat and dance, and if it does rain during the ceremony Log haven has umbrella's that they will give out to people.
For this wedding, we would like you to please dress in your best "Red Carpet" attire. Think black-tie, but fun, like the Emmys red carpet or the Met Gala-lite. If you can't swing dressing to the nines, we understand, and that is fine. Please look as fabulous as possible, and one major rule is NO JEANS and NO COSTUMES.

If you are driving and not taking a ride share, there will be Valet parking at Log Haven. They will take and park your car for you. This will be free Valet, and no tip is necessary, as we are planning on paying that in advance. If you would still like to tip feel free. You will be given a yellow valet ticket. Keep this ticket as it is your payment to leave the canyon. For guests of the hotel we recommend using the shuttle we will arrange with the hotel.
So, our colors are Autumnal colors. Our main colors are Dark Green and Burnt Orange. Other colors are Ochre (golden yellow), Burgundy, Royal Purple, and Gold.
Yes, BUT NOT FOR YOU! When arriving at the venue you will be given a yellow valet ticket. Keep this ticket as it is your validation. Give it to the park kiosk attendant and you will not have to pay to exit. This includes Lyft/Uber drivers as well. You can get a yellow ticket from the valet attendants, and give it to your driver so they don't have to pay to exit the canyon either. This is for both drop-off and pick-up.
Please utilize our public transport TRAX. It is free within the "Free Zone" downtown. We recommend downloading the "Transit" app from your favorite app stores. Here is the map: General TRAX map: https://legacy.rideuta.com/-/media/Files/Rider-Tools/Schedules-and-Maps/Route-704/704schedule_Aug2024.pdf To get there to and from the hotel to downtown SLC we recommend using a ride share app.
We recommend using a ride share app, Ute Cab, or Salt Lake Airport Shuttle (https://saltlakeairportshuttle.com/) to get to and from the hotel.
For guest staying at the hotel we are going to be having a free shuttle service running to and from Log Haven starting from 4pm to 11:30pm. The shuttle at the end of the service will be at 10pm and a final departure at 11:30pm. The shuttle will seat 13 passengers, and is for hotel guests only. If you are not staying at the hotel, or at a different hotel we recommend a ride share app or drive your self if you're a resident or have rented a car.
It is a restaurant, but the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all outside. The ceremony will be in Log Haven's amphitheater. There will be heat lamps, but the venue is in the mountains, so we do recommend a jacket. Temperature should be in the 60s, but it is Utah, and....well just be prepared. It has snowed in July here.
Yes there will be assigned tables, but you can choose where you sit at the table. You will see the seating chart when you enter the reception, and people will point you towards it to find where you sit. We have tried to make the seating chart be so that you will at least know 2-4 other people at the table. Except for one person, but they know who they are.
