Wedding Guest Shuttle

Hood River is extremely limited with Ubers and Lyft, sometimes even nonexistent. Our venue has very limited parking, so we kindly request that guests use the provided wedding shuttle service to get to and from the celebration. The shuttle will make three pickup stops before the wedding: 1. Couple’s Airbnb (Complimentary Parking Available) 📍 3250 Redwood Road, Hood River, OR • Please arrive by 2:45 PM to park and load. • Shuttle departs promptly at 3:00 PM. 2. Hood River Hotel (Street Parking Only) 📍 102 Oak Street, Hood River, OR • Street parking may require a fee; if you’re staying nearby, walking is encouraged. • Please arrive by 3:10 PM to load. • Shuttle departs promptly at 3:25 PM. 3. Best Western Plus Hood River Inn (Complimentary Parking Available) 📍 1108 East Marina Drive, Hood River, OR • Please arrive by 3:25 PM to load. • Shuttle departs promptly at 3:40 PM. ⸻ Important Venue Access Information: • The venue does not allow guests on property until 4:00 PM. • If you miss the shuttle and must drive, please arrive no earlier than 3:50 PM. Early arrivals will need to wait in the parking lot until gates open. • If venue parking is full, overflow parking is available at Ruthton County Park nearby. Please note this park has no lighting at night. If you park here, please inform a wedding staff member so we can assist with safe transportation back to your car after the reception. Just a short drive from The Griffin House, it’s a perfect stay for wedding guests looking for both relaxation and adventure.

The Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa, established in 1921, is a historic hotel located at 4000 Westcliff Drive in Hood River, Oregon. Perched atop the majestic cliffs of the Columbia River, the hotel offers 40 guest accommodations, a full-service spa, and the renowned Simon’s Restaurant. It is approximately 0.2 miles west of The Griffin House, making it a super convenient lodging option! *This will be the closest hotel option.

Travel Note

Traveling To Hood River

The best way to get to Hood River from Portland International Airport (PDX) is by renting a car and driving east on I-84, which takes about an hour. While there are some shuttle and car service options, Ubers and Lyfts are not readily available in Hood River, so having a rental car is highly recommended for convenience during your stay.
