My best brother, my best friend and my best man. I could not be more honored and proud to have Parker standing right next to me on my big day. Park is the most loyal person I know, and has always been there for me through thick and thin. The brotherly bond we share is something that I truly cherish. I like to think of myself as the guy he looked up to throughout his sports career, but in all honesty he turned out to be better than me at everything he did. Since Park lives in Charleston, I've already nominated him to be the bar scene tour guide.

Ivete was my very 1st friend in Kindergarten. Our friendship has always required effort since I moved away from Ivete at a young age. However the truth is - it was never really much effort. From weekend sleepovers with crazy prank calls to adult girl's night dinners with embarrassing stories, Ivete was usually the highlight of my week. She is one of the funniest girls I know; her incredibly candid wit & sarcastic humor always put a smile on my face. When we aren’t talking shit in Portuguese, our conservations always cut to the core of what really matters in life. Ivete is a no bullshit type of girl & that is my favorite part about her! I know that she will be in my life forever! She is so special to me & it sincerely warms my heart to have a lifetime friend that I can always rely on.

Wow, where do I even begin with this guy. Scott is by far the funniest person I have ever met. I honestly can’t think of a dull moment at any point together during our friendship. As crazy as this sounds, I’d look forward to summer breaks home from college just to hear about the crazy stories from his college's frat house. For many reasons, Scott is the source of entertainment at parties so we'll all have to keep an eye on him during the wedding. When you see him, make sure to ask him how he learned to throw such epic house parties. Scotty is the most likeable guy you'll ever meet, and I could not be happier to share the big day with him there!

Nicole is one of those best friends you don't mind doing absolutely nothing with because just being around her feels good. Nicole and I roomed together for all 4 years of college. From day 1 of Rutgers, Nicole has felt like home to me. I have never watched so much tv, laughed so hard over dumb movies, eaten so much cereal, nor watched anyone eat so much pasta as I have with my dear Nicole. And I wouldn’t have her any other way. She is one of the most genuine, honest people you will ever meet and that is my favorite thing about her! College years can carry a lot of pressure for girls, but Nicole is as straight as an arrow in every way - what she says, what she promises, & what believes. I was so blessed to have her in college & now I know I’ll be blessed to have her alongside my “I do’s”.

The future bro-in-law! Throughout my years dating Jen, Ricardo has always been welcoming and warm to me. I can see that he has always been a good influence on Jen, and I thank him for helping to shape her into the strong woman that she is today. Ricardo is extremely passionate about cars, and always has nice whips in the garage. He has fully embraced me into his family, and I am very appreciative of that. I look forward to spending more time with you and Ada!
Ada Batista

Finally, I get a sister! Ada will be my brother’s wife & my very own sister in law by the time Griffin & I tie the knot. It’s funny how different & the same Ada & I are. We both went to Rutgers, excelled academically, & we both work way more hours than anyone should. Yet, it is what makes Ada different from me that I love & admire. Ada is laid-back, not picky or particular at all, & is grateful for everything that comes her way. I’m so excited to have a sister close by that can hopefully rub off a bit of her genuinely good, chill attitude onto me. Ada’s zen & carefree ways will be just what I need near me on the wedding day!

D Lieb is the best friend I have born south of the Mason-Dixon line. I've actually invested in Jack Daniels' stock after witnessing his consumption of it after four years of college together. Oh, in case you didn’t know he was first-team all state in highshcool football in Virginia, but I’m sure he’ll let you know that. He knows his way around a charcoal grill and rides a badass Harley Davidson. Danny is always up for a good time as long as it involves some kind of extreme outdoor sport. I think he was the first guy in the history of college lacrosse to miss on a breakaway shot, but I've clearly forgotten about it since then...He also has an obsession with all things Jordan brand. I haven't broken the news to him yet, but the tuxedos will not be Jordan brand. Sorry dude!
Denise Vega

Denise & I have followed one another since age 4 - from grammar school to middle school to HS & then to the same college & business school! Our similar upbringing has always made connecting & understanding each other easy. Denise has been there for me through every major life event. When I look back at level 1 HS classes, honor societies, homecoming court, frat parties, break-ups, matching Halloween outfits, snowboard trips, college apartments, & now even living 3 blocks away in Jersey city, Denise has always been there right next to me. As one of my brightest friends, I always go to her for advice & she always has the right answer. I truly admire Denise’s calm demeanor & wise, old soul perspective. She’s been my life partner for over 25 years & now she'll watch me gain a new life partner!
Ryan Heath

Ry-Guy. Ryan is the older brother I never had. I have always looked up to him throughout life, and he has always looked out for me. A fellow Up-Stater, we grew up only a couple houses away from each other. Ryan was quite the athlete around town, and just like one of the other Groomsman, he's not afraid to remind you of it! Ry has been a huge reason why I've had success in my time living in NYC, grinding it out in the medical device industry- he got me the interview. Ryan is as close to family to me as it gets, and I'm honored to have him next to me on my wedding day.
Natasha Sousa

“Jen & Natasha” could of almost been considered a noun when we were little. At 8 years old, we met & were attached at the hip for all of grammar school & most of HS. We dressed alike, played at the park everyday after school, & had sleepovers most weekends. Natasha represents my childhood; she taught me how to lead & be different from others. She marches to her own drum beat & it's contagious! From 8 to 18 with Natasha’s free spirit yet straight compass, paving our own way to adulthood was easy &enjoyable. We have countless silly memories (PBGC dance nights, playing dress up, chasing boys from the town over, & rollerblading around Central Park). The bond I share with Natasha from such a pure age is so special. I’m so happy she is still in my life to watch me now grow old with Griffin.
Trevor Dougherty

Trev is by far the most genuine guy I know, and also happens to be one of the first friends I made at St. Joseph's University. He has the best sense of humor, and every time we hang out I leave in stomach pain because we're laughing 99% of the time. Trev was nominated captain of the lacrosse team at St. Joe's, and it's evident why. He is the kind of guy people look up to and someone you can always count on to be there for you. I consider him a best friend for those same reasons. Although I haven't forgiven him yet for creating that facebook photo album of the goals scored on me during our lacrosse season, I am honored to have him by my side on the big day.

My cousin Amanda! Amanda has always been family in my mind &heart. Since all of my extended family is in Europe, my family spends every Thanksgiving& Christmas with her family. Just like cousins, Amanda & I have countless memories - childhood games like our creepy, violent spin off hide & seek, picking on Amanda’s younger brother, & overeating until I vomit on holidays. However what I love most about us is that we're always there to support one another when it really counts (breakups, races, birthdays, etc). Amanda is one of my favorite people on this planet; almost everything that comes out of her mouth is hysterical without her even knowing it could be funny. Griffin & I are so lucky to have Amanda as "family" close by; she has the sweetest, most genuine heart I’ve ever known.

A brother, a Christian Brothers Academy Brother to be exact. I have known Matty since our first day together at CBA. We went through middle school, high school and college together so it's safe to say we go WAY back. He is hilarious, flat out. His sense of humor and endless pranks make him a fun guy to be around...as long as you're not the subject of his jokes. For example, one night in college he thought it would be a funny idea to turn our apartment into an obstacle course and cut off the electricity so the first person to return from a night of drinking had to try and navigate through the stacked up furniture in pitch dark conditions, only to trip, fall and nearly crack their head open. In case you were wondering, that person was me.

With this marriage, I get another sister! I could not be more excited to have a little sister. I have always wanted one to keep me young & ask me for advice. Carly is such a free & young beautiful spirit. I could not have asked for a better little sister. She is so sweet, caring, and always down to have a good time! I can't wait to get closer over the years; it will be so fun to share new family secrets, watch chick flicks, and talk all things girly together. I'm excited to be there for Carly when she graduates college, gets her first real job, and starts her adult-life. That is when the real fun will begin - bring on the family vacations, concerts, and girls' nights!

Last but certainly not least, Matt Dougherty. Doc is one of my best friends, and has been since our years together at St. Joe's. I ask myself sometimes why we're so close when the majority of our friendship revolves around him making fun of me...but it's hilarious. He also makes for a good drinking buddy, as long as you don't plan on staying out late (lightweight). I cannot wait to see what new dance moves Doc has in store for the big day, he can seriously cut a rug.

We have zero human children, nieces or nephews, but we do have one furry bundle of joy. We would like to announce our daughter Brooklyn as our honorary Flower Girl! We are well aware that she will likely steal the spotlight, but it will be worth it.
