It is is about a 7 minute walk to the William Aiken House and probably a little nicer than the Holiday Inn. The group rate is $269 per night (10/12-10/14, Saturday & Sunday nights). Airbnb and VRBO will is a great housing option during your stay in Charleston. If you are traveling with a group (4 people or more), it is absolutely the most cost effective option. There are plenty of quality, beautiful homes and condos to rent for the weekend. Staying in Downtown Charleston will be the most convenient area to stay in walking distance to most things. For a much more affordable rate per night, other beautiful neighborhoods within Charleston include Mt. Pleasant, Folly Beach and John's Island. Jen and I have rented houses/condos in both Mt. Pleasant and Folly Beach before through vrbo.com.

This is where we stayed during our first trip to Charleston! This boutique hotel offers guests an intimate stay. The Elliott House Inn, once a private residence, pairs the comfort of a bed and breakfast with the chic style and great service of a boutique hotel. We enjoyed the attention to detail and service here; the people who run the place are so sweet. Also a big plus for us were the free bikes you can take and ride around Charleston.

This is the hotel that we will be staying at a couple of nights before the wedding day. This hotel is dog friendly for our sweet little flower girl. It is a bit pricey and about a 13 minute walk to the wedding venue. The hotel has an amazing rooftop bar - Eleve Rooftop Restaurant & Lounge. We look forward to meeting many of you here for some cocktails together.
