We suggest you fly into Anchorage and rent a car or arrange a ride to Wasilla. There are hotels in Wasilla and Palmer. There are more options in Anchorage. It's just a short 45-60 minute drive from Anchorage to Wasilla. Air Bnb's are also great options.
