What is Camp Woodbury?

Answer

Camp Woodbury saved us from over a year of chronic indecision on where to get married. It's a retreat center close to a major airport with space for outdoor activities and near our new home in Detroit. There's a central lodge with a deck overlooking the lake and miles of trails and fields around it. But it's not too spread out - it feels really intimate and cozy. We're really excited about all the opportunities it will give us to spend time with all of you.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids, but our venue has a strict limit on the number of people allowed on the property which counts children, and we have too many people invited if kids join us. If this is going to prevent you from being able to come, please reach out to us right away and we will work with you to figure out what to do.

What's the deal with the Friday events?

Answer

The Friday morning/afternoon events are truly optional - we just wanted to make sure we could have as much time as we could with our loved ones, so we rented the camp for an extra day. We'd love to see you, but we understand not everyone can take an extra day off.

No! We're going to keep updating the website as we get more things planned. For those of you who know us and may be feeling nervous, don't worry - we are getting a wedding planner to help! Please reach out to us with any questions you have and that will help us know what to put on here.
